Your Passport Is Not Your Professional Qualification
At 45, I wanted to share this directly from my heart, knowing I may receive some negative comments. Thatβs okay. Some things are worth saying honestly.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being proud of your nationality, culture, or roots. We should all appreciate where we come from.
But I sometimes question the message behind putting a national flag before a professional title, especially when it seems to suggest that nationality itself adds professional value.
After many years of living, working, and travelling across Dubai, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Romania, Spain, Italy, the USA, and many other countries, I have learned that people are people everywhere. Every country has educated and uneducated people, successful and struggling people, good and difficult experiences, strengths and weaknesses.
A stronger economy, cleaner streets, better infrastructure, or a more prestigious passport does not make one human being better than another.
In real estate, your nationality cannot replace market knowledge, experience, integrity, professionalism, communication, negotiation, honest advice, and results. Clients ultimately need someone who understands their objectives, protects their interests, tells them the truth, and has the experience to guide them properly.
Dubai is one of the most international cities in the world. We work every day with people from different nationalities, cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. That diversity should make us more humble and open to learning, not create a hierarchy between people based on passports.
Be proud of where you come from, but never use where you come from as a measure of your worth compared with someone else.
Your passport tells people where you were born or where you belong legally. It does not define your intelligence, your character, your professionalism, or your value.
At the end of the day, I would rather be known for what I know, how I treat people, the advice I give, and the results I create than for the flag beside my name.
Be proud of your roots. Respect every culture. Stay humble. Let your character and your work speak for you.

π§ Ego is one of the quietest forms of self-destruction.
It convinces us that we already know enough. That advice is criticism. That disagreement is disrespect. That being older, more experienced, or more successful means there's nothing left to learn.
I used to think that way too, until life hit me hard. Instead of letting it harden me, I chose to listen, learn, and grow. Now I try to share what life has taught me while staying open to learning every single day. I'm simply trying to become a better version of myself, and I know I still have a long way to go.
Every person you meet knows something you don't. Some have survived battles you'll never see. Some have failed where you haven't. Some have learned lessons you haven't reached yetπ
The strongest people aren't the ones who always have the answers. They're the ones humble enough to listen, reflect, admit when they're wrong, and keep learning. π€
Ego wants to be right.
Wisdom wants to grow perioddddd
Protect your character more than your pride. In the end, humility will always take you further than ego ever will ππ€

From an Egyptian-Lebanese who fell in love with Romania. β€οΈπ·π΄
My love for Romania started long before I met my Romanian wife.
Back in 2000β2001, while working at SeaWorld Adventure Park in the United States, I met my first Romanian colleague. That was the beginning of my curiosity about this beautiful country. I started following Romanian football, listening to Romanian music, learning the language, and, of course, falling in love with the food.
Years later, I met the woman who became my wife, and Romania became much more than a country to me, it became home.
For almost two decades, I've been learning Romanian. My grammar still needs some work, but every time I speak the language, I see people smile. Romanians truly appreciate when someone makes the effort to speak their language, and that makes every conversation even more meaningful.
As an Egyptian-Lebanese, Romania feels surprisingly familiar. We share many of the same values: family comes first, children are cherished, hospitality is a way of life, food brings people together, and music is part of who we are.
Romanian women are among the strongest, smartest, and most resilient women I have ever met. Throughout my career, I've worked with many talented Romanians and Moldovans, and they have consistently impressed me with their professionalism, education, and determination. It is no surprise that Romanians succeed all over the worldβin Dubai, Spain, Italy, Austria, the United States, and beyond.
Like every country, Romania has its challenges. But beyond the headlines, I have found kind people who are always willing to help, highly educated young people who speak several languages, and a country full of talent, beauty, and opportunity.
My dream is simple: within the next five or six years, my wife, my daughter, and I hope to make Cluj our permanent home. That's how deeply I have come to love this country.
Thank you, Romania, for welcoming me, accepting me, and making me feel at home.
God bless Romania and the Romanian people. You have my respect, my gratitude, and a special place in my heart. β€οΈπ·π΄

β οΈ To those spreading false rumors about people who dedicate their time to helping others:
Every opportunity created, every life positively impacted, and every honest effort will always speak louder than baseless accusations.
If your energy is spent discouraging those who are trying to make a difference, perhaps it's time to ask yourself what you're contributing instead.
Support those who build. Respect those who help. Stop trying to discredit people whose only goal is to create opportunities for others.
π― Rumors fade. Integrity remains. Actions always speak louder than words.
