Why we sometimes say “No” to waxing, even when you’ve waxed before.

If you’re taking Roaccutane, , isotretinoin, using tretinoin or retin A anti aging creams you may wonder why we won’t wax your brows, lips or other delicate areas.

We have a very good reason ✅

These ingredients can change the way your skin renews itself and usually leaves the surface thinner, drier, more sensitive and very reactive.

Wax, even if it’s not too hot, can adhere to live skin cells. This increases the risk of skin lifting or stripping. This leaves the affected area very sore and vulnerable while it heals. It can present like a burn!🔥

Even if:
•you’ve been waxed before
•your doesn’t feel sensitive
•you’ve only used your retinol recently
•another salon was happy to wax you

… We won’t take an unnecessary risk with your skin.
