Our bodies remember what we’ve been through. Stress, trauma, illness, burnout and years of pushing through can all leave their mark. Just like my body did with me.

But I believe our bodies also have an incredible capacity to heal, adapt and find their way back when we give them the right support. Just like my body has with me.

Sometimes healing isn’t about pushing harder or finding the next thing to “fix”. It’s about slowing down, listening to your body, supporting your nervous system and creating the conditions where healing can happen.

Maybe this week, instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?”, ask: “What does my body need from me today?”

I read Dr Rawls book and there’s a lot of helpful advice, not just for people with Lyme’s disease but for anyone with autoimmune or chronic inflammatory illness.

My daughter Ava AVA has finished school, and amongst all the pride and happiness, I keep thinking… where did all that time go?

It’s such a reminder that life really does happen in the ordinary moments.

The school runs. The dance lessons. The rushed mornings. The dinners around the table. The arguments over messy bedrooms. The hugs. The laughter. The days that sometimes feel long, but somehow the years disappear in a heartbeat.

We spend so much of life looking ahead to the next thing, waiting for things to settle down or thinking we’ll have more time later. And then suddenly, a big chapter closes.

So today’s little Living Mojo reminder is to be here for it. Put the phone down sometimes. Take the photo, but then be in the moment. Hug them a little longer. Appreciate the ordinary days, because one day you realise they weren’t ordinary at all.

Today I’m one very proud, slightly emotional mum, trying to soak it all in. Congratulations to my beautiful Ava and all the Year 12 graduates stepping into their next chapter. ✨❤️

And the rest of the holiday spam 🌴✨ Koh Samui with the gorgeous Jackies, a whirlwind Singapore stop with Hame & Shell, and a little Bangkok chaos to finish it all off. Beautiful people, plenty of laughs, new memories and lots of moments that filled my cup. Travel really is good for the mojo. ✈️🌺

Every year I try to gift myself some kind of reset. A chance to step away from the noise, slow down and come back to myself.

This was my second retreat with my friend Jckie and once again I got so much out of it. Daily yoga and meditation, nourishing food, beautiful conversations, sunshine, a digital detox, and simply having the space to BE rather than constantly DO.

Did it all go perfectly? Of course not. I managed to pick up a tummy bug along the way and had five days where my body had other plans. But maybe that was part of the reset too.

Life isn’t about everything being smooth, perfect or going according to plan. Health and healing certainly aren’t. It’s about learning to listen to your body, adapt, surrender a little and navigate what’s in front of you without letting it take away from everything that’s good.

I came home feeling grateful, grounded and reminded yet again that sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is step away from our everyday lives long enough to hear ourselves again.

Coming home to yourself. That’s Living Mojo 🧘‍♀️🌴.

Sometimes we think we’ve lost our mojo, when really it’s just been buried beneath the noise.

The busyness. The stress. Other people’s expectations. The endless to-do lists. Sometimes, simply the demands of life.

Your mojo is still there.

Often, finding it isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about quietening the noise, reconnecting with yourself and making space for more of what makes you feel alive.

What could you turn down this week, so you can hear yourself a little more clearly?

Celebrations, family time, lunches with friends, cheering on the people you love, a little shopping and dancing your heart out at a neon party. These are the moments that fill your cup, lift your energy and bring your mojo to life. Don’t forget to make space for them. ❤️

Small rituals really can change the way we feel.

I’m a big believer in morning and evening rituals, both for myself and for my clients. They help us start the day with intention, and give our body and mind a signal that it’s time to slow down at night.

But our rituals don’t have to be saved for morning and bedtime.

When you’re healing, little resets throughout the day can be incredibly powerful too. A few minutes of yoga or breathwork. A walk in the sunshine. Energy work. Standing barefoot on the earth. Simply stopping and taking a few deep breaths.

Small moments that tell your nervous system, “You’re safe, you can relax.”

Never underestimate the healing power of the little things you do consistently. That’s where we begin to rebuild our mojo. 💚
