I started this in my kitchen. 🌿

I was tired of wellness feeling confusing, overcomplicated, and a bit dodgy honestly. So I began making simple botanical products I’d actually use, trust, and happily hand to a friend.

Every ingredient earns its place. *EVERY* ingredient.

If you've ever wondered what goes into creating a Nectar by Nature formulation, the answer is a whole lot of reading, researching, experimenting and disappearing down a botanical rabbit hole for 8 hours straight 😂

I'm not interested in throwing twenty fashionable ingredients into a bottle just because they sound impressive.

Every herb, plant oil, essential oil and crystal is considered for a reason.

What does it contribute? How does it work alongside the other ingredients? Is it appropriate for the intended use? What does it bring to the overall experience?

And sometimes, just as importantly, what DOESN'T need to be there?

My formulations are built around intention, not ingredient-count competitions.

Because more isn't automatically better. Better is better.

And I'd much rather create something thoughtfully than make something unnecessarily complicated.

🌿 The Nature Behind Nectar | 03/10

🤎 One woman. One baby. A whole lot of plants.

Nectar by Nature wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from postpartum.

I was navigating life with a newborn, postpartum anxiety and depression, and desperately looking for different kinds of support for myself and my little family.

But everything I found seemed to come with some massive compromise. The ingredients, the experience, the formulations. Nothing was quite what I needed.

So I started making my own.

And somewhere between researching herbs, experimenting with formulations and creating these beautiful little bottles, something else happened.

I found a creative outlet.

Something that was mine, in a season of life where so much of me was devoted to someone else.

It gave me something to learn, something to create and something to pour myself into during some really difficult days.

What started as making products for myself and my family slowly became Nectar by Nature.

Every formulation, every little adjustment, every bottle. It all started with me, at home, figuring out how to make what I couldn't find.

Nectar by Nature is my postpartum baby.

And I'm so bloody proud of what she's become.

Plants aren't the decoration. They're the whole point.

I've always been fascinated by what nature has to offer us. The flowers, the herbs, the roots, the oils. All these beautiful little things that have been part of human wellbeing for generations.

And when I started creating Nectar by Nature, I knew I didn't want botanicals sprinkled into a product just so I could put a pretty flower on the label.

I wanted them to be the foundation.

Real herbs, thoughtfully selected. Beautiful botanical infusions. Plant oils and pure essential oils, each chosen for a reason.

Because for me, natural skincare isn't about following a trend. It's about genuinely appreciating what plants have to offer and creating something beautiful with them.

So I'm starting a little series to share the values, decisions and stories behind Nectar by Nature. The things you don't necessarily see when you pick up a bottle.
