If you're carrying a knot that won't budge, this is what actually shifts it.
Deep tissue trigger pointing. Find where the lower trap sits, warm it up, then work into the tight spot slowly until it starts to release.
It looks intense and it's uncomfortable in the moment. But for stubborn knots and tight tension, it's the thing that works.
Just joined a run club? Your knees are about to have opinions.
Every step is about three kilos of downforce per kilo you weigh. Running pushes that to seven to nine.
Most new runners come in with outer knee pain, and it's usually the ITB. The fix often isn't the knee at all. Loosen off the glute med, the ITB settles, and the knee stops copping it.
Dad still thinks he's 25. His back disagrees.
Maybe it's the old footy injury. Maybe it's tight hips after a week at the desk. Maybe it's the shoulder that flares up every time he tries to keep up with the kids.
Most dads just push through until it gets worse. Our therapists work out what's actually driving the restriction and treat it properly. Not a relaxation hour, a targeted treatment.
This Father's Day, book him a session or grab a voucher.

Feeling Tight? Add Some Heat 🔥🌾
Heat packs are a simple way to complement your massage and help soothe tight, stiff or tired muscles.
🔥 Relax — gentle warmth can help muscles feel more comfortable.
🌾 Soothe — great for aches and everyday stiffness.
💆 Maintain — a simple addition to your home-care routine between treatments.
We recommend and stock Wheatbags love and large heat packs from Wheat Bags Australia.
Ask your therapist which option is right for you! 🥨
Three issues we see in nearly every office worker.
The neck and shoulders first. Hold a static position long enough and you get rounded shoulders, a tight neck, tight traps.
Then the scapulae. Arms forward all day means they stop doing their job and get very tight, very angry.
And the lower back, the QLs. Sitting switches the glutes off, so the lower back ends up carrying more than it should.
One stretch for anyone stuck at a desk all day: the pec stretch.
Forearm on the doorframe, then turn your body away from it. You'll feel it open through the pecs, and pull on the traps and scaps at the back. Ten to fifteen seconds each side.
Eight to ten hours hunched over a keyboard puts your body in a position it's not built for. This loosens the pecs and shoulders and takes some load off the back.
A great opportunity to broaden our knowledge with Wallace and dive deeper into the considerations involved in oncology massage.
It’s sessions like these that challenge us to think beyond technique and understand the bigger picture when caring for our clients.
Thank you, Wallace, for sharing your knowledge with us! 🌿
