• Extremely long or tightly curled hair
• Fresh hair color, chemical straightening, or other chemical treatments within the past week.

•High risk pregnant,1st and 3rd trimester
• Active scalp infections, fungal conditions, lice, or other contagious conditions
• Recent head/neck surgery or medical treatment
• Open wounds, sunburn, eczema, or dermatitis affecting the scalp
• Heart/cardiovascular conditions, thrombosis, diabetes, or unstable blood pressure
• A history of epileptic seizures within the past year
• Hair extensions, cornrows, or dreadlocks
