With so many new faces joining the salon lately, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself!

Hi, I’m Jess, the face behind Jane Edward Hair. 🤍

A few little facts about me and the salon:
• I started my hair dressing journey at 13 and now am 23 and absolutely love my job!
• Jane Edward Hair is named after my parents.
• I have owned my own business for just over 4 years, but rebranded last year when I returned to Queensland after some time away.
• I am very much a home body but I do love a good night out.
• Very much a dog lover! I’ve probably already told you about Remi 😂
• I literally drop my comb maybe 5 times every appointment (if not more)
• I will remember your colour formula but forget where I put my keys.
• I opened my own salon because I wanted to create a space where every client feels relaxed, listened to and genuinely cared for.
• My favourite services are blondes, lived-in colour and creating healthy, beautiful hair that suits your lifestyle.
• I’m a big believer that your salon appointment should be all about you and feel like a catch up with a friend, not just another appointment.
• When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family and friends or working behind the scenes on what’s next for JEH!

After 6 months of consistency, patience, and trust… Em is finally BLONDE! ✨🤍 Em Coleman

I’ll be completely honest this transformation challenged me so much as a hairdresser. There were moments where I felt defeated, and yes… I even cried over Em’s hair because I just wanted to give her the result she deserved.

But every appointment, every foil, every little adjustment brought us one step closer to this end result. It’s such a good reminder that sometimes beautiful transformations can’t be rushed.

I’m incredibly proud of myself for not throwing in the towel when things got hard, and even more grateful for Em, who trusted me and understood the process every single step of the way.
