CIAF 2026 Fashion Performance
Still coming back down from it!
Thanks again CIAF or organizing an amazing event for us co-creatives to share what we love doing and where we get the opportunity to tell story of people and country.
What an amazing collection of designers! It was an honour to be showing alongside you all, some, of whom I have been long admired and to meet you all was unreal, each sharing in the experience and all so encouraging and supportive of one another.
A huge shout out CIAF Fashion Performance coordinator, Lynelle and her team including the volunteers out back there, for bringing the bigger than before event together successfully in all its fabulousness' and a special thank you Lynelle, for the hugs when I was overwhelmed with emotions on seeing "Nan-dhi's Unconditional Love" for the 1st time out on the runway.
Lastly and most importantly, from my heart to your heart, models, my deepest love for embodying and breathing life into the story in the most beautiful, empowered way you each did!

Just over 2 weeks ago now my first, 10-piece, fashion collection "Country Nurtures Me" made it to Cairns Indigenous Art Fair HQ with many goosebump moments during the delivery.
I am very grateful for the assistance received, as a recipient, of a Regional Arts Development Fund grant.
βThe Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Mackay Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.β

In the co-creation for CIAF Fashion Performance the elder trees have spoken to be included, and so it is that the "Elder Tree" seasonal bark print collection will lead my collection. The collection has a sustainable focus of adjustable sizing and use of natural fibers and fittings where able.
