THREE THINGS I WISH SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME WHEN I STARTED BUILDING MY BUSINESS.

One. Go timeless, not trendy.

Stop chasing every new platform, every format, every strategy that’s working for someone else right now. Trends are a treadmill. Timeless is a foundation. The women who are still standing in ten years built something that didn’t require them to reinvent themselves every six months.

Two. Every pivot is a quiet surrender.

I told myself I was evolving. I was adapting. I was being agile. But here’s the truth nobody says out loud. Every time you change direction, tweak the offer, burn it down and start again, you’re giving up. Not dramatically. Quietly. A thousand small surrenders dressed up as strategy. Momentum requires consistency. You can’t build it if you keep starting over.

Three. Your biggest flaw is your greatest asset.

The thing you’re most ashamed of. The thing you think disqualifies you. The thing you’ve been hiding or minimising or apologising for. That’s the thing. Lead with it. Because it’s not a flaw. It’s your superpower, your genius and your magick. And the right people will recognise themselves in it immediately.

Manifesting can be easy, BUT it has nothing to do with vision boards, affirmations or praying to the universe. You need a body that can hold it, and it’s not about wiring the body to be “safe” instead try wiring it to flourish, to melt into the YUM… and watch things change.

So this happened today, words from a client about how easy things can be, what happens when we devote our life to our third nervous system state… our current takes us downstream baby!

I was chatting to a friend the other day and we were talking about getting to midlife after so being so long working toward a goal that often, we don’t even want anymore! Midlife has a way of removing everything that doesn’t belong anymore.

All your money problems and abundance problems could be solved in an instant but the truth is, most people can’t hold it.

We all know the stats around people winning the lotto and losing it two seconds later.

What we talk about inside my work is the compounding effect and micro transformations.

Here is the perfect example of this that happened to a client,

She was working two jobs, day and night, for years.

When she started working with me, she had just given up her second job.

But was still working 7 days a week, day and night, just in one job.

The first thing we got started on in all of my work is changing our “operating system”,

Moving into what I call the third state in the nervous system, Thaliasympathic (the one where we flourish)

We focus on micro moments, micro transformation, and we let them compound,

Here’s how it unfolded for my client,

How she felt every day changed,

How she showed up every day changed,

How we danced with life changed,

How she related to people changed,
Now, she is working much less,

She has a day off every week,

Earning more, not a huge amount more… but more.

She is thriving and feels amazing.

She is learning the work,

Doing the work,

… And in a world that preaches overnight success and abundance, we need to be real.

I want to say something to every woman who is trying to build a business while also raising kids, caring for parents, holding a relationship together and managing everyone else’s emotional load.

That’s the most extraordinary kind of strength.
