People often see the finished braid, the beautiful GlamLock, or the smiles in my photos… but what they don’t always see are the countless hours behind the scenes.

This past year has been one of the biggest learning curves for me. Every GlamLock is handmade with love, and every braid is created with care. I’ve spent months researching, testing and perfecting my colour extension Dutch braids. I ordered so many different types of hair, and honestly… a lot of it ended up straight in the bin because it simply wasn’t good enough. I wanted something that looked beautiful, felt amazing, and gave my clients the quality they deserve.

After a lot of trial and error, I finally found it. Hair that is incredibly soft, silky, lightweight, comfortable to wear, easy to braid, and creates beautiful, long-lasting results. That moment made all the hard work worthwhile.

But as proud as I am of mastering my braids, nothing compares to what happens at my parties.

Seeing a little girl run to the mirror with the biggest smile, friends excitedly choosing their favourite colours, the giggles, the sparkle, the laughter, and the excitement as everyone leaves feeling just that little bit more magical… that’s the reason I do what I do. And it’s not just the kids—seeing mums, teens and even grandmas join in and leave smiling is something really special.
