Drew Baird "the PCOS Mentor"
Helping women with PCOS take control of their hormones, health & confidence — without the overwhelm.
Makayla has PMOS and can we take a second to say a BIG well done to her!! ❤️
Because we all know making positive changes with PMOS isn’t easy, especially when you feel like you’ve already tried everything. Since starting:
✨ She has energy all day now
✨ Her cycle is regular again
✨ Her cystic acne is basically a thing of the past
✨ The constant cravings and food noise are gone
✨ Her mood is stable instead of up and down
✨ No more brain fog
✨ Bloating isn’t a daily thing anymore
But before joining us?
❌ She was drinking energy drinks just to get through the day
❌ Constantly jumping from one fad diet to another
❌ Exhausted ALL the time
❌ Her mental health was at an all-time low
❌ And deep down… she was starting to believe nothing would ever work for her
And THIS is the part I want you to hear. Makayla didn’t suddenly become more disciplined, eat less food or have more motivation. She finally stopped trying to figure everything out on her own.
✅ She knew exactly what to focus on each week
✅ When motivation disappeared, she had someone keeping her on track
✅ When progress slowed, we adjusted instead of her assuming she had failed
✅ And for once, she had a plan built around HER and her PMOS
So if you’re reading this thinking…
“I’ve tried everything.”
“I can lose weight, but I always put it back on.”
“I know what I should be doing, I just can’t stay consistent.”
“I’m so tired of starting over.”
You are EXACTLY the woman we coach every single day. You don’t need another fad diet and you don’t need someone telling you to “just eat less and exercise more.”
You need a plan you can actually stick to, support when things get hard, and someone in your corner who understands PMOS.
If your goal is to finally lose the weight, feel like yourself again and stop doing this alone, comment “COACH” below and we’ll see if NOVUM is the right fit for you, or come apply ❤️
If you have PCOS / PMOS, you’ve probably heard people recommend both inositol and berberine. But they’re not the same thing. 💚
🌸 Myo-inositol
🌿 Berberine
While both can support women with PCOS, they work in very different ways.
✨ Myo-inositol helps improve insulin signalling and can support more regular cycles, ovulation, hormone balance and healthy testosterone levels.
✨ Berberine helps lower blood sugar and improve insulin resistance, making it a great option for some women, particularly those with metabolic concerns.
The truth is, it’s not about which one is “better.” It’s about choosing the one that best matches your symptoms, goals and stage of your PCOS journey.
Remember: PCOS isn’t about taking every supplement on the shelf. It’s about giving your body what it actually needs.
Have you tried inositol or berberine? Which worked best for you? 👇
While everyone else seems to wake up recharged, you can start the day already exhausted. Then you’re expected to show up at work, exercise, look after everyone else, manage your relationships AND somehow find the energy to work on your PMOS.
And then people wonder why “just be more consistent” isn’t helpful. 🙄
The research backs this up. Women with PCOS/PMOS have significantly higher rates of sleep disturbances, and sleep-disordered breathing is also much more common.
There are a few reasons this can happen:
🌙 Low progesterone. If you’re not ovulating regularly with PMOS, you may not produce as much progesterone. Progesterone has a calming effect on the brain, so lower levels can make it harder to get the deep, restorative sleep your body needs.
🍯 Insulin resistance. When your body struggles to manage blood sugar properly, your energy and sleep can suffer — and a bad night’s sleep can make insulin resistance even harder to manage the next day.
⚡ High cortisol at the wrong times. This is that horrible PMOS feeling of being absolutely exhausted all day… then somehow feeling wide awake when your head hits the pillow.
A few simple things that can help:
🍳 Build a protein-rich breakfast. Aim for around 25–30g to help support steadier blood sugar, hunger and energy throughout the morning.
🌙 Finish your last big meal 2–3 hours before bed. Give your body time to digest and start winding down before you sleep.
☀️ Get 10 minutes of morning sunlight. Morning light helps regulate your circadian rhythm and tells your body when it should be awake and when it should start preparing for sleep.
💊 Magnesium glycinate before bed. For some women, magnesium can support relaxation and sleep quality.
This is why I’ll always defend women with PMOS when someone calls them lazy.
You’ve got all the same responsibilities as everyone else, except some days you’re trying to do them with a battery that only charged to 30%.
And despite that, you STILL get up, you still try, and you still keep fighting to improve your health.
Give yourself some bloody credit for that. ❤️
If you have PMOS, I need you to hear this: Your problem has NEVER been a lack of effort.
You’ve probably tried more diets than the person judging you has ever heard of. You’ve tracked your calories, cut carbs, skipped meals, joined gyms, bought supplements.
You’ve lost weight, gained it back, blamed yourself, and somehow STILL picked yourself up and tried again. And again. And again.
That isn’t laziness!!!
It’s the exact opposite. That’s someone who desperately wants to feel comfortable in her body again and refuses to give up on herself. The problem is, you keep getting advice from di*****ds who reduce everything down to:
“Just eat less.”
“Just move more.”
“Calories in, calories out.”
As if having a metabolic and hormonal condition like PCOS/PMOS couldn’t possibly change how difficult hunger, cravings, fatigue, insulin resistance, recovery and your bodyweight can feel.
Of course calories matter but, telling a woman with PMOS who has been fighting her body for YEARS to simply “try harder” completely misses the point.
You don’t need another extreme diet. You don’t need to punish yourself with more exercise. And you definitely don’t need to give up on the dream of finally losing the weight and feeling like YOU again.
You need an approach that actually takes your PMOS into account. I’ve coached enough women with PMOS to know one thing for certain.. Effort was never the thing they were missing. ❤️
Let’s stop this for good ❤️
You’ve been told fruit has too much sugar 🙄 That it’s making your PCOS belly worse. Wrong!!! I’m sorry but with PCOS (PMOS) it’s not about cutting fruit out. It’s choosing the ones that help improve your hormones.
Here are 10 that actually help 👇
1️⃣ Berries 🍓🫐 Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. Low sugar, high fiber, loaded with antioxidants that calm the inflammation driving the belly.
2️⃣ Apples 🍏 The pectin slows glucose release so you’re not spiking and crashing all afternoon.
3️⃣ Grapefruit 🍊 Supports insulin sensitivity. Half before lunch and your cravings drop by dinner.
4️⃣ Avocado 🥑 Healthy fats keep you full for hours and support hormone production.
5️⃣ Kiwi 🥝 Two a day has been shown to improve insulin markers.
6️⃣ Pears 🍐 One of the highest fiber fruits you can eat. Keeps digestion moving.
7️⃣ Cherries 🍒 Low GI and anti-inflammatory. Great when the afternoon cravings hit.
8️⃣ Pineapple 🍍 Bromelain helps with the bloating you’ve been blaming on PCOS itself.
9️⃣ Papaya Digestive enzymes that ease the gut issues that come with PCOS.
🔟 Oranges 🍊 Vitamin C helps regulate cortisol, which directly affects how you store belly fat.
Fruit isn’t the problem with PCOS. The wrong approach to managing it is xx
This is Sarah... 24 weeks later later. 💚
📉 Over 12kg (26lbs) down
✨ Hair started growing back in her bald patches
✨ Dry, flaky, itchy skin cleared up
✨ IBS symptoms improved dramatically
✨ Sugar cravings finally under control
✨ More energy throughout the day
✨ And, most importantly... she’s maintained her progress.
Before NOVUM, Sarah felt like she was doing everything “right” but getting nowhere.
⚠️ Restricting food... then ending up with uncontrollable cravings
⚠️ Constantly starting over every Monday
⚠️ Exhausted no matter how much she slept
⚠️ Wondering why nothing seemed to work for her body
Her words said it best: “I felt hopeless... I was restricting so much, which led to cravings I couldn’t manage. I was always tired, even after a full night’s sleep.”
So we stopped chasing quick fixes and started working with her PCOS instead of against it.
✅ Blood sugar-focused nutrition
✅ Meals that actually kept her full
✅ Exercise that supported her hormones
✅ Better sleep and stress management
✅ Daily accountability
✅ A community of women who truly understood what she was going through
No crash diets, no cutting out entire food groups, no starting from scratch every few weeks.
Just a plan she could actually stick to. Because that’s what creates results that last.
If you’ve been doing everything you can and still feel stuck... it might not be that you’re not trying hard enough. You might just need a plan that’s built for YOUR PCOS.
Comment “COACH” below and I’ll reach out to see if NOVUM could be the right fit for you or you can apply straight away x
