Motherhood changed the way I treat my patients.
It taught me to listen beyond the words being said. Because as a mum, you quickly learn that what someone says and what they actually need aren’t always the same thing.
That’s something I’ve carried into my work as a nurse. Taking the time to really listen, understand what my patients are looking for and make sure their treatment plan reflects them, not just what’s in front of me.
For me, better listening has led to better understanding, better care and ultimately, better treatment outcomes.

Skin quality doesn’t stop at the jawline.
When we think about skin ageing, we often focus on the face, but changes in collagen, elasticity, hydration and skin structure can happen across the body too.
The décolletage, upper arms, buttocks and hips can all experience changes in texture, laxity and overall skin quality.
A personalised consultation allows us to look at the bigger picture and consider what may be appropriate for your anatomy, skin quality, goals and medical history.
I never imagined I’d end up working as a cosmetic nurse.
But life has a funny way of leading you where you’re meant to be. Once I realised I could combine pharmacology, biology and psychology to help patients achieve meaningful results, improve their quality of life and feel more confident in themselves, I really fell in love with it.
And that’s still what I love most about what I do today. It’s never just about skin. It’s about how someone feels in themselves, too.

Motherhood isn’t a pause on ambition.
For me, it’s about embracing both. Being a mum while continuing to build a career and a business that I’m passionate about. One doesn’t have to come at the expense of the other, and I think it’s important to show that you can want both.
I want my daughter to grow up seeing that you can be a present mum while still pursuing the things that light you up.
The best advice I’ve been given? Outsource where you can.
You don’t have to do everything yourself. Whether it’s business, life or the little things in between, knowing when to bring in support can make all the difference. Your time and energy are valuable, so spend them where they matter most!!
