After 5 years in a box I’ve finally branched out into a brand new space, it has windows and room to run around in, so i’m pretty stoked, and i hope you all love the new shop when you drop in for your next haircut! Hey W&C’ers,
Today marks 10 YEARS of Barbering!
From starting my apprenticeship in the town i grew up in at Sharp Cuts For Men, to moving overseas and working with the awesome crew over at Crows Nest Barbershop in Vancouver, to opening my own shop back in Victoria Point. Its been a journey and an absolute dream.
People ask where i got the name Wonder & Chase Barber Co. from, and i tell them since the day i started barbering i always wanted to open my own space.
I wondered, and then i chased that dream.
Thanks to everyone whos helped support and teach me along the way, i can’t thank you all enough. ❤️🤘🏼💈

Going from quiet days waiting around, in and out of lockdown, to being booked out a month in advance!
its been an awesome journey, and its only getting better!
New shop (opposite end of current building) will be opening hopefully before the end of the year!
I cant wait to have a window with some natural lighting, and a bigger space so i can hire a helping hand to make W&C even better (and lower the wait times too!)

Howdy Wonder & Chasers, hope everyones been well and dodging the germs goin’ round.
Its my 30th birthday today *woo*
so i guess that makes me a super wise guy now..right?
Too bad im gonna be spending it crook at home but thats just how it goes.
Ive got a week or so off starting today, so lets hope for a swift recovery so i can enjoy some proper time off!
If im slow at replying to any messages apologies, i will try my best to get back to ya while kicking my feet up.
Im taking bookings into November now, so make sure ya start thinking about your end of year snips, time is flying!
Also, cheers for all the support lately after the passing of my father. You have all been amazing and it means so much.

Cyclone Alfred was kind enough to leave my shop’s roof on, and the power has come back on, so we’re back in action! 🌀
