Not me about to tell you ombré lip blush CAN look natural 😭🖤

Look, I get it. A lot of the pics you see are freshly tattooed and can look CRAZY dark and bold. But that’s not the healed result! 🤭

Her old lip blush (done elsewhere) had faded right out. No border, no pigment in the corners, just a flat, blurry lip 🥲 She needed a full refresh, and she wanted it defined, crisp border in a beautiful n**e.

So we took our time, mapped her shape first, then layered the colour up over a few passes using 𝐎𝐥𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐨𝐯𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐚 | 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐍𝐓 perfect purple, perfect n**e and Perma Blend Premium Cosmetic Pigments haze.

And YES she looked red straight after 🔥 Every fresh lip blush does, some more than others. Her lips had literally just been tattooed. That’s not the colour she kept, I promise you.

After one session? Soft, but defined velvety, n**e. Exactly what she asked for 🤎

But I wasn’t done. At her perfecting touch-up I went back in with perfect purple again, focusing on the border, and THAT’S what took it from “pretty” to “polished” 😍 Look at the shape on her!

GIRLS… the harsh truth is one session of ombré lip blush doesn’t always give you your dream lips, and here’s why 😭

She came in wanting:
✨ Fuller-looking, more defined lips

Here’s why. Lips are one of the trickiest places to tattoo, and every body heals pigment differently. Hers healed soft and pretty after the first session, but we were still chasing more shape and a juicier colour pay-off. That’s totally normal, and it’s what the perfecting touch-up is for 🖤

At her touch-up I refined her shape and built colour back into the edges, then blended it into the centre so the ombré stays soft and glossy. Both sides were mapped for symmetry.

Without using anything else but strategic brow mapping + a little PMU magic 🤌🏽🪄

She came in wanting:
✨ Better brow symmetry
✨ More definition without having to draw them on every morning
✨ A shape that actually suited her face
✨ Fuller brows without them looking heavy or “tattooed”

The biggest change? THE TAILS.

I remapped the ends of her brows to create a subtle lift, which instantly opened up the eye area and gave the whole brow a more flattering shape.

Then, where she was naturally lacking hair, I added delicate nano hairstrokes to recreate that fluffy texture before adding soft powder shading for extra definition.
