Tonight from the very exclusive kitchen of “I’m Not Making Anything Complicated”…

I present… Crispy breaded chicken fingers — because apparently we’re fancy now.
Golden potato pierogies, generously filled with cheese.
A delicate finishing touch of spice, because this chef has decided we have standards.

Plating technique? Questionable.
Presentation?
We’ll call it rustic.
Effort level?
Let’s not discuss that.

But the important part?

It’s hot, it’s delicious, and nobody asked me what’s for dinner tomorrow.

This chef is officially off duty.

No special celebration today. And that’s exactly the point.

Because we’ve been taught to wait for the big moments.

The promotion.
The milestone.
The birthday.
The good news.
The thing we’ve been praying for.

But what if we stopped waiting?

What if life itself was enough reason to celebrate?

Every day.
Every hour.
Every little ordinary moment.

The morning coffee.
The people you love.
The laughter around the dinner table.
The fact that you woke up today with another chance to LIVE.

You don’t need something extraordinary to happen before you’re allowed to feel grateful.

Being here is the blessing.
Being alive is the celebration.

So today, I’m celebrating absolutely nothing and somehow, everything.

A big ol’ bowl of chili with ALL the fixings — cheese, sour cream, and Tostitos Scoops because apparently one scoop is never enough.

Nothing fancy.
Nothing complicated.
Just comfort food done right.

And honestly? Some nights, that’s exactly the kind of dinner I want.

Chili.
Fixings.
Scoops.
DONE.

What do you add to your chili!

Okay… I can finally say it.

My book is officially in the EDITING stage.

And if I’m being completely honest… seeing those words attached to something that started as an idea in my head is a little surreal.

I’ve been pouring pieces of myself into this book. My lessons, my mindset shifts, the things I had to unlearn, the things I wish I understood years ago, and a whole lot of uncomfortable truths about money, identity, freedom and becoming the woman who no longer lets money make every decision for her.

But here’s the thing…

I didn’t write this book just for people who already have money figured out.

I wrote it for the woman who is working hard but still feels like she’s constantly playing catch-up.

The woman who gets paid and already knows where every dollar is going.

The woman who has said, “If I could just make a little more, everything would be easier.”

The woman who wants more but sometimes feels guilty for even admitting it.

The woman who has spent so long worrying about money that lack has started to feel normal.

Because sometimes the biggest shift isn't simply learning how to “handle your money better.” It’s learning how money actually works.

How money moves.

How it flows.

How it can be earned, kept, multiplied, invested and put to work.

And, maybe most importantly, how to position yourself differently within it.

We were taught to work for money.

Go to school.
Get a job.
Work hard.
Get paid.
Pay the bills.
Repeat.

But very few of us were taught to understand the system.

Very few of us were taught to understand the movement of money or how the people who build wealth position themselves within that system.

We were taught how to earn a paycheque.

We weren't necessarily taught how to make money work for us.

And there’s a difference.

A BIG one.

That’s one of the conversations I wanted to have in this book. Because when you start to understand the system, understand the movement of money, and learn how to position yourself differently within it, you stop looking at money quite the same way.

You stop seeing every dollar as something that simply comes in and immediately goes back out.

You start asking better questions.

What can this money do?
Where should this money go?
How can I create more value?
How can I make this dollar work beyond today?
What am I building that can continue creating value tomorrow?

And that brings us right back to our mindset.

What we believe is possible for us.
What we believe we deserve.
What we believe wealthy people know that we don't.
What we automatically say yes to.
What we automatically tell ourselves we can't have.

Those beliefs can quietly run our financial lives for years.

That’s why Manifesting F*ck You Money isn’t about becoming a millionaire so you can buy a bigger house or a fancier car.

It’s about something much bigger.

It’s about freedom.

Freedom to say no.

Freedom to take your time back.

Freedom to walk away.

Freedom to make decisions without that little voice in your head asking, “But can I afford it?”

Freedom to stop living in a constant state of financial panic.

Freedom to build a life where money is a tool instead of the thing controlling your choices.

And THIS is the part I’m most excited about!

I don't want this book to just sit on someone's bookshelf looking pretty.

I want it to make you question things.

I want it to make you rethink what you believe about money.

I want it to challenge the way you see yourself.

I want you to understand that creating wealth isn't reserved for some secret club of people who were born knowing what to do with money.

And I want you to finish it thinking, “Holy s**t. Maybe I really can build something different.”

Because I believe you can. And, it’s never too late.

The book is officially in editing now, so I’m not giving you an exact release date just yet.

But believe me, I’m counting down.

And when it’s ready, I want the people who have been following along, cheering me on, and watching this come together to be the first to know.

So consider this your very first sneak peek.

Manifesting F*ck You Money.

Not because we need more money just to say we have it.

Because we deserve more choices.

And yeah…

I’m pretty damn excited to put this one into your hands.

If you haven’t already been put on the VIP pre-launch book list, drop a comment and I’ll add you to it instantly.

Because maybe this is the year you stop simply trying to survive your money and start learning how to make your money work for you.

She’s medicated up and resting 🤍

This soup has been stalking my feed for DAYS, so obviously I had no choice but to make it.

And yes, I paired it with grilled cheese because I have standards. We’re not eating soup like heathens over here.

Was it worth the hype? Let’s just say the bowl didn’t stand a chance.

And honestly… I’m pretty sure Nonna would approve.

10/10. Would absolutely let the internet bully me into making it again.

Okay, so… apparently I was way too optimistic about this whole perfectly-boiled-egg-peeling situation.

I even made a more eggs than I needed because I was so convinced this method was going to be the answer to all my egg-peeling problems.

And I used the exact method my friend Jason VanBrederode swears by…

And…. It was a FAIL for me.

Like, not a little fail.

My eggs look like they’ve been through war.

Now I’m sitting here with a whole pile of boiled eggs that refuse to peel properly, wondering where exactly I went wrong with my life choices.

I really thought, “THIS is it. I’ve finally cracked the code.”

Apparently not.

At this point, I think I just have to accept that eggs and me don’t jive.

And Jason… I followed your method. The eggs just chose violence. 😂

Some moments, you just have to pause.

Patiently waiting at the vet with my little Paris after she hurt her arm. We don’t know what happened. She just woke up not being able to put any weight on it.

Praying it’s NOT a break and that it’s something much less serious. She’s such a tiny dog at only 4 pounds. She has always been very fragile. We rescued her and she already has pins in both her arms.

It’s funny how these little fur babies can bring your entire world to a standstill in an instant.

So for now… we wait.
We pray.
We trust.

Come on, Paris girl… Mama needs you to be okay.

Not every dinner needs to be impressive. Sometimes, you just need to FEED THE PEOPLE.

Tonight’s menu: hot Italian sausage, mashed potatoes and cauliflower.

Not one of my most intricate dinners… but dinner nonetheless.

I’ve had quite the weekend, but I’ll save those stories for another day… because trust me, there are stories.

For tonight, we’re keeping it simple, filling, and getting everyone fed.

Fancy? Nope.
Good? Absolutely.
Would I make it again? Obviously.

Real life.
Real dinners.
Real people.

And sometimes… simple is exactly what we need.

I’m tired… and I have another full day ahead of me tomorrow morning. I’ll be off to bed very early tonight.

Apparently, I’ve officially run out of new dinner ideas… and I’m NOT mad about it.

Last Friday I made buffalo chicken nachos.

They were ridiculously good.

So what did I make this Friday?

THE EXACT SAME THING.

Listen… when something works, we don’t need to complicate it.

I just gave this week’s nachos a little extra colour with some fresh tomato toppings, and honestly? They may have been even better.

There’s something to be said for knowing what you like, making it again, and not feeling the need to reinvent the wheel every single night.

Especially when it involves loaded nachos.

Friday dinner = handled.

And yes… I’m considering making them again next Friday 😂
