👐➡️👊➡️💪
Every deep tissue session starts with a conversation with the tissue.
👐 Broad palm glides — warm up the area, assess tissue tone, and establish the direction of work.
🎯 Trigger point therapy — identify and address specific areas of increased tension.
👊 Knuckle glides — transition into more focused, controlled pressure along the erectors.
💪 Elbow glides & pins — deeper, sustained work for stubborn or overworked areas.
The goal isn't to start with maximum pressure.
It's to progress with purpose — letting the tissue guide how deep, how slow, and how specific I need to go.
From broad → focused → deep.
That's my workflow. 🔥

“Everyone deserves a chance to fly.” 🧙♀️💚
And sometimes… you just need someone to help release what’s been weighing you down. 😮💨
Working into the QL with focused trigger point pressure can help address stubborn tension through the lower back and surrounding tissues—especially for people who spend long hours sitting, standing, training, or constantly loading one side of the body.
A little pressure.
A little patience.
A little magic. ✨
Because everyonedeserves to move a little more freely. 💚

Myofascial cupping doesn't have to be the final step. 🫙🌊
After working through the tissues with decompressive cupping, I like finishing with gentle lymphatic-style drainage techniques to transition from deeper work into lighter, soothing strokes.
This combination can help encourage fluid movement, support lymphatic flow, reduce that heavy or congested feeling, and leave the client feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Deep work ➡️ decompression ➡️ gentle drainage.
It's all about choosing the right technique for what the tissue needs. 💪

You’ve seen the baby steps… now here’s the full routine. 😮💨
Myofascial cupping can be used in different ways depending on what the tissue needs — from static decompression to dynamic glides, longitudinal work, cross-fiber techniques, and more.
The goal isn't simply to leave you covered in cups. 😂
It's about using controlled decompression to work with the tissues, encourage circulation, improve tissue mobility, and help overworked areas feel less restricted.
Different techniques. Different stimuli.
One goal: better movement and recovery. 💪🌊
From “what are those things?” ➡️ “Okay… I understand the hype now.” 😂

The body works as a chain—not as separate parts.
By combining a broad palm glide on the gastrocnemius with deep, focused work on the plantar fascia, I'm addressing two structures that are closely connected through the posterior chain.
Why combine them?
🦶 Encourages smoother tissue glide from calf to foot
🌊 Helps reduce tension throughout the posterior chain
🚶 Can improve ankle and foot mobility for everyday movement
🏃 Great for runners, athletes, and anyone on their feet all day
💪 Supports recovery from overworked calves and tired arches
Sometimes the biggest relief comes from treating the connection, not just the location of the discomfort.
One glide. Two tissues. One very happy pair of feet. 😌

If you've ever had your plantar fascia worked on... you know. 😂
Behind the laughs and the foot wiggles, releasing the plantar fascia can provide some great benefits:
🦶 May reduce tension through the arch of the foot
🚶 Can improve foot mobility and tissue glide
🏃 Helps support comfortable walking and running mechanics
💪 May ease the feeling of tired, overworked feet after long days or training
🌊 Encourages local circulation and can leave the feet feeling lighter and more relaxed
Yes... it can be spicy. 🌶️
But sometimes your feet deserve just as much attention as your back and shoulders.
Client: "STOPPP! 😂"
Me: "...Almost there." 😌

Slow, intentional work always wins. 🌊
Starting with a gentle foulage of the gastrocnemius helps assess tissue tone and gradually encourage the muscle to relax. Following it with a broad open-palm glide allows me to work through the tissue with control, promoting circulation and helping the calf feel lighter and more mobile.
Whether you're a runner, lifter, hiker, or someone who's on their feet all day, your calves absorb an incredible amount of load. Giving them the attention they deserve can help reduce that heavy, tight feeling and get you moving more comfortably.
Sometimes recovery isn't about going harder—it's about slowing down enough for the tissue to finally let go. 💪

You're about to give up... then you hear the French guy speak 🇫🇷🔥
Recovery isn't always linear.
Some days you're making progress. Some days you're sore. Some days it feels like your body is fighting against you.
Whether you're recovering from an injury, getting back to the gym, training for a race, or simply trying to move without pain, remember: progress is often built one small step at a time.
Massage therapy won't do the work for you, but it can help support recovery by reducing tension, improving mobility, increasing body awareness, and helping you stay in the game long enough to keep moving forward.
The goal isn't perfection. The goal is to keep showing up. 💪
The French motivational speech definitely helps too. 😂

Sometimes the tension you feel near the upper trapezius starts farther out in the shoulder chain.
A slow deep tissue glide from the supraspinatus into the upper traps can create a powerful release pattern through the cervicothoracic region, especially when the shoulders have been living in elevation and guarding for too long.
You can actually see the tissue soften as the pressure follows the line of tension instead of fighting against it.
Precision, pacing, and understanding the chain always beats brute force.
