Where The Muse Is Always Present. The Studio at Lilac Hill is the work space of Canadian artist Kate Brown. Since leaving New York where she earned her MFA at the School of Visual Arts, Kate Brown returned to her Canadian roots where she continues to exhibit her work both locally, nationally and internationally. Realizing that solitude is a necessary component to the creative process, Kate Brown moved her art practice from the urban centres of New York and Toronto to a studio in her forest at Lilac hill near Huntsville Ontario in the heart of Muskoka.
