Thanksgiving Time already!!

Where has the time gone? When a person is busy time does fly by fast and that is why we would rather be busy then not. This week end brings together families to help celebrate and to reflect on this past year, which is so very important. We as a family will be meeting with other family members that we have not seen for some time.
This farm was the homestead where many of the family members spent a lot of their growing up, so now is the time to come together over a meal and visit.
Hoping we can have some nice weather for this.

Friday and Saturday we will be open for you to come in and check out the garage sale/barn market.

As Monday is a holiday we will be closed in the Barn Market/Garage Sale to take a break.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Hoping you can take some time to reflect on this past year.

Ghost Pipe

A unique plant that is grown in very specific areas of the land. Not everyone gets the opportunity to see this little plant grow. Here at MO JO's God has given this little plant for us to watch it grow and to use its medicinal properties.

We have made the Ghost Pipe into a tincture. Last year we had it available for sale but it sold out quickly because it's very valuable medicinal properties which are:

Severe Anxiety attacks, panic and deep emotional distress.
Nerve related pain from cancer or severe injury rather than everyday aches.

Put two to four drops under your tongue. Wait 40 minutes and if you do not feel it working then you can take more. No more than 12 drops at a time.

We do not have this plant as a dried herb since you need to put it into the liquid as soon as it is picked or it will start oxidizing and turning black.

We encourage you to research this plant before purchasing the tincture.

Pop in and pick up your bottle of Ghost Pipe Tincture and while you are here check out the other vendor tables, 3000 square foot garage sale and have a bite to eat.

Please let your friends and family know that we are now open in the Barn Market/Garage sale Monday to Saturday 10:00 - 5:00.

Wow Tuesday has come and gone now into Wednesday our third day of opening full time with the Barn Market and Garage Sale. Today we get to have Sour Dough brought in as well if you like garage sales you may want to check out the garage sale that is being held here. The garage sale fills up the greenhouse house and there is surplus of items waiting to be put out when space becomes available.
The food truck is open. Stop on by for a bite to eat and check out what is for sale.
It is going to be another great day.

Anyone know what plant this is? and the benefits to this plant?

Please help us get the word out to everyone that we have our market/garage sale running from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 - 5:00.

I am so very encouraged to see so many people who want to come along with us to eat more healthy and to use God's Pharmacy. God did give us all the herbal plants (weeds) for us to use. Over the years this changed and we were taught to go get our medications from the pharmaceutical. Five years ago it was hard to sell any type of medicinal herb. This past summer we saw a change where more herbs were sold then flowers.
Facebook is showing people are talking about medicinal herbs more than ever as well.
A change is coming with how healthy we want to be and that is great news.

Here at the Market/Garage Sale we want to be open to helping you. We have over 30 medicinal plants that are dried and packaged for you to purchase and each package comes with the medicinal properties that is has. These herbs were grown right here so they are very local. Many times we purchase from around the world and don't know what is in the product. We know what is in our product and it is pure herb no fillers. We want you to feel better and not have to run to the doctor every time we have an ailment.

With saying this we will run a free course for those that want to join us. A series of videos from Dr. Patrick Jones who is a herbalist. Then there will a time for discussions. This will start on October 22 at 2:00 and then an evening class starting on October 23 at 7:00. We don't want to exclude any of you therefore there will be an afternoon and an evening class. If you know anyone who would like to join us please extend the invite to them as well.

Herbs are not the only thing in the market/garage sale. There are so many more items that are available for sale as well.

Come check it out.

Wow what an awesome day it was for our first day of opening. Thank you to Kim who did a free fire c***r class and to all those that came out to attend this. Also thank you to those of you who just dropped by to see what was happening. Without all you guys a business who was so deeply hurt by the government overreach would never be able to rebuild. You guys are the best. Now with the first day over let us keep the momentum going with you dropping by and checking the market and garage sale out. It is sure nice to see our customers come back. You are the reason we continue what we do.

Unbelievable one more day until we open the Garage Sale/Barn Market. It has come together and is looking great.

Large garage sale. Many new and old items. Also there is baking, preserves, frozen meals and healthy food, lots of gift ideas and fresh eggs for sale. Over 30 different dried herbs that have been locally grown and packaged here. Natural products for every day use and so much more. There will always be samples out for you to try. One stop, shop to get you set for the week. Check out the poster for Monday. Very excited to have someone come in to demonstrate the fire c***r, and it is free to everyone who comes out for this. We encourage you to join us for this and then visit over a specialty tea made from our herbs.

We want this to feel like community where people can come, visit, shop, have a bite to eat and just feel that they belong here. We are all struggling with something but it helps to endure the issue when you know that others care for you.

Amazing how things are coming together. We are working towards being open in the Barn Market/Garage Sale for Monday October 5. In the next few days we will be giving you a little peak as to what you can expect to see when you stop by the market. We have vendors with great items that are also joining us.

What a great way to start having a community here. A place to come to visit with people, hang out, have a coffee or a bite to eat and just relax. We need to have a place like this where we can get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives.

Today we will discuss Holy Basil another name for this herb is Tulsi.

- Stress Relief
- Respiratory Support
- Blood sugar Regulaiton
- Anti-oxidant
- Anti-inflammatory

There are a lot more benefits to this herb and encourage you to do your research on it.

We have a large number of different medicinal herbs for sale and you will notice this when you come into the market.

Also our first day of opening and we will have a free demonstration for you. Check out the poster.

We are looking forward to seeing you.

With the overnight frost I guess our foraging has come to an end. It was a great fall to go out and forage and now drying and putting all herbs away. Coming into the Barn you will see all our walls are laden with herbs that we are drying. It has been a tough year to dry as it was so humid. The dehydrators sure have come in handy for the drying.

Let us continue with going through the herbs that will be for sale once the Barn Market/Garage Sale opens on October 5.

Citronella

Many of you know that Citronella is used for mosquitoes but did you know that it also has medicinal properties? Let us find out how they are beneficial to us.

Anti-microbial
Anti-fungal
Analgesic
Good for the skin
Aromatherapy
Anti-inflammatory
Fungal Infections - Athletes Foot

On October 5 we will have a free demonstration at 2:00 "Making Fire C***r". Come on by and learn how to make this for yourself and also find out how it is beneficial to you.

Any of you interested in joining us for a video series "Homegrown Herbalist by Doctor Jones". I am excited to watch this once again. He is so informative and you can learn lots from him. We will start after Thanksgiving. Thursday afternoons starting at 2:00 on October 22. Then the same video series for the evening since some of you are not be able to make it to the afternoon series. Starting on Friday nights October 23 at 7:00. This will be a free video series. Then there will be an open floor for discussions. We can learn from each other. Looking forward to this. It may be only one or two that get together but it just may also be a room full. You are invited to this as well as tell all your friends who may be interested in this. The more the merrier.
