11% of our hot process soap formula and 100% of the “superfat” is pure castor oil and that is very intentional. Our choice to use hot process soap making allows full control over the superfat.

Castor oil is the ultimate superfat because of its unique chemical composition – nearly 90% ricinoleic acid. When added at the end of the cook, it transforms a standard bar into a luxurious cleanser with a dense and creamy lather, that draws moisture from the air, into the skin. Adding castor oil as a superfat means the unsaponified oil remains in the bar, providing a protective, anti-inflammatory barrier that is excellent for acne-prone or sensitive skin.

Natural made soap at it’s best, once you feel the difference, it’s hard to go back.
