It was so good to be back at the market today !!
After taking the summer off, we really missed seeing everyone and getting to chat with you in person. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi, made a purchase, or just came to support us. We appreciate it more than you know.
And the scrubs definitely seemed to be a favourite today. We only have a few of each scent left in stock, so if you missed out today, there are still a few available.
For everyone who placed a local order, your orders will be ready for pickup tomorrow. Keep an eye out for your pickup notification.
Weekly updates :
• Our Surprise Bath Bombs are now available for pre-order and will be ready around mid-October.
• Our Nourish Shampoo Bars are almost sold out. We have ONE left, along with just a few of the matching conditioner bars.
• And our Glow Body Oils are perfect for after the shower, on damp skin to help lock in moisture, on dry areas, or anytime you want a little extra glow. They also make a great massage oil.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡🤍💛❤️🖤
I wanted to use my little corner of the internet for something meaningful today. I have a platform, even if it’s a small one, and I think it’s important to use it to share information, encourage learning, and have conversations that matter. (Feel free to share!)
I also wanted to bring this a little closer to home. Most of us here in Timmins know that we’re in Treaty 9 territory. But how much do we actually know about the history of the land we live on and the communities that have been here long before us?
Treaty 9 was signed at Mattagami on July 7, 1906. Mattagami First Nation has a really interesting history of the treaty and their community that I’ll link below.
And residential school history is much closer to home than many people realize. The Chapleau/St. John’s Residential School operated from 1907 to 1948, just a couple of hours from Timmins. The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation has documented the school and the children who were connected to it.
I’ve put a few resources below that I encourage you to take some time to watch or read — especially if, like me, you’re still learning.
We don’t have to know everything. But we can listen, learn, ask questions and continue the conversation beyond September 30.
