Wanna know why I ask you so many questions before I even start on your lashes or brows?

It’s because “a Korean lash lift” tells me the treatment you want, but it doesn’t tell me what you actually want your lashes + brows to LOOK like.

This client wanted her lashes to be as noticeable as possible + asked for a brown over black tint. With her almond-shaped, slightly upturned eyes and super straight + short/medium length natural lashes, I adjusted the lift technique to give her that visible, flattering result without making her lashes look aggressively curled.

For her brows, she wanted a fuller look with fluffy front hairs that transitioned into a smoother finish, plus a soft, natural-looking tint. Since her hairs are fine + naturally grow downward, I focused on creating fullness through the shape + styling while keeping the front soft + fluffy and smoothing the rest.

One year of this little studio🥹🤍

I don’t think I fully understood what I was signing up for when I signed that lease a year ago.

There have been some really hard days, a lot of learning, plenty of second-guessing, and moments where I’ve had to remind myself why I started in the first place.

But there have also been so many beautiful moments that make me stop and think… wow, I really built this!

This space has become so much more than a studio. It’s where I get to create, connect, grow, and welcome so many amazing women through the door.

So if you’ve supported FBF in any way over this past year — booked an appointment, referred a friend, shared my work, stopped by, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines — thank you. Truly. 🥂

Here’s to one year of FBF in this little space, and all that is to come. Cus’ girl we’re just getting started ✨🧚🏻‍♀️

For my client, all we did was simple brow shaping and a Korean lash lift. That’s it!

The goal wasn’t to make her look like a completely different person, it was to make her look more polished with less effort.

A good brow shape can make your brows look more defined without looking overdone and a Korean lash lift can open up your eyes without committing to a full set of extensions.

I keep saying this because it’s what I truly believe, but your beauty routine should work to enhance your features, not make you feel like you have to keep adding more.
