🌱 Multiplying Plantains, Growing Sustainable Agriculture! 🍌
At HEED , we believe in turning simple agricultural practices into opportunities for food security, income generation, and sustainable livelihoods. Plantain multiplication is one of the ways we can increase access to healthy, quality planting materials while supporting farmers to expand their production. From one healthy sucker, we can multiply plantain planting materials and create new possibilities for farmers and communities. 🌱🍌 We are committed to promoting practical, sustainable agricultural solutions that empower people, protect the environment, and contribute to a more food-secure future. Let’s multiply, plant, grow, and prosper together! 🌍💚

Engaging women and Girls in Environmental friendly activities is an interesting gesture that doesn't only shape their thoughts as women of the female gender, but this also puts them out In a broader job market. Some activities might seem challenging and frightening for women to do them but I bet you sometimes they can do it even better if thought the right way
JackGreens Agriculture in Collaboration with Heed Cameroon has been working hard to give women and girls their place when it comes to Environmental friendly activities. Conservation wise they are at the forefront and Innovation wise they are trending. Let's not minimize the place of a woman in Environmental space and in the modern technically sphere they are having lots of thriving activities ringing their minds.
Training women on vegetative multiplication technique like marcoting gives them the opportunity to learn how to grow their own fruits and feed their children with. Most at times it's better to just teach them how to fish than sharing them the fish.

🤝Happy World Humanitarian Day🤝
Today, August 20th, HEED Cameroon joins the entire world in a pause to say thank you.
World Humanitarian Day is not about big headlines. It’s about the quiet, brave people who choose compassion when it’s hard. The nurses who stay late. The volunteers who share water. The teachers, neighbors, and strangers who show up with food, shelter, and hope.
This year’s theme reminds us: 🌹Humanity comes first.🌹
To those Goodwill People All Over The Earth..
💚
From Bamenda to Sahel from Kyiv to Kampala — goodwill looks different, but feels the same.
💚
It’s the community health worker walking kilometers to check on a family.
It’s the youth group cleaning streets after a flood.
It’s the woman who opens her home to someone displaced.
It’s the aid worker who runs toward danger so others can run to safety.
💚
Too often, these people work in crisis zones, in conflict, in disasters — and they do it without asking “what’s in it for me?” They do it because someone has to. Because we are human, and we care for each other.
💚
Why It Matters Now
In 2026, the world still faces climate emergencies, conflict, hunger, and displacement. But alongside the challenges, we also see something powerful: ordinary people choosing to act.
💚
One person sharing. One community organizing. One act of kindness that becomes a movement.
That is how we keep humanity alive.
💚
How You Can Honor the Day
🤝Thank a humanitarian - Text, call, or pray for someone serving others in your community.
🤝Give your time - Volunteer locally. Food drive, hospital visit, blood donation.
🤝Give with purpose- Support organizations helping in crisis areas.
🤝Stand for protection- Speak up for the safety of aid workers and civilians in conflict.
🤝Be goodwill - The smallest act counts. Check on a neighbor. Share what you have.
🙏A Prayer of Thanks🙏
May we never get used to suffering.
May we never stop seeing people.
And may we all have the courage of the goodwill people — to love, to serve, and to show up.
To every humanitarian, volunteer, and person of goodwill all over the earth:
🙏We see you. We thank you. The world is better because of you. Don't give up yet🙏
Happy World Humanitarian Day. Let’s keep choosing humanity — today and every day. 💛

Trees are Family 💚
We came and this is how we grew up....little by little. Never minimize a forest this is where we started building dreams . Trees do not only grow in the forest they .....live with us in our homes like every day and are family too.
I remember nights we didn't eat and slept hungry because there wasn't firewood to cook with. Yes and you can have all the food in the world but if you can't cook it how do you even eat it.
Trees are family
Just remove the tree from the entire picture of your life and see where you belong.
Let's value a tree not just for Fuel energy but for the fact that trees influence our cultures , our habitats and our way of life.
Giving our chicks the last injection ...and soon we are picking eggs

Some projects can just change the entire narrative.....for most of this Indigenous communities depending on capacity building initiatives to spur their lives from one spot
“This project helped us a lot, because it changed our behaviour from being dependent as women to having a voice as women.”
In Chókwè, southern , climate change is deepening existing inequalities. Recurrent floods, economic hardship, and migration have left many women managing households, securing food, and sustaining livelihoods, often with limited access to resources and decision-making.
Supported by the African Development Bank Group through the Africa Climate Change Fund (ACCF), the Gender-Transformative Climate Resilience Project is helping women strengthen their resilience through climate-smart agriculture, leadership training, financial literacy, and community-led action.
For beneficiaries like Olga Domingos Manhía and Paula Cossa, resilience is about more than adapting to climate change. It is about gaining confidence, having a voice, improving livelihoods, and becoming leaders in shaping stronger, more resilient communities.
Already reaching more than 55,000 people across Malawi and Mozambique, the initiative demonstrates that gender equality is central to climate resilience.

They say our environment is our Home. Yes and our homes are our lives. Can we actually have a life if our environment isn't safe for habitation......No is the answer.
The seasons of rain and it's harshness is here, we don't want to blame the rain for falling but we can blame ourselves for pretending not to do anything in preparations for the rain to come . Because something will happen if nothing is Happening.
Let's build resilient communities, let's fight climate change together, let's be pro active even in the face of the floodings and environmental challenges coming with the changes in season.
Hope For the Environment and Education is here for you . We want to assist you prepare your minds for disasters and challenges like this that the future we All wait for shall come with.
Be a Game Changer
