There's something that disturbs my mind, how Can a couple have 2 ss children who aren't twins? That is a crime, if it is one it could actually pass for ignorance, but 2 and more is criminal. There's no reason to continue giving birth after your first sickle cell child. You have to STOP 🛑

One advice I have to give my fellow sickle cell warriors that has greatly helped me to reduce the frequency of pain crisis is to Hydrate.Drink a lot of water at least 3L daily. I drink 5, and I can tell you for free that I don't have crisis as often as I did.

As a sickle cell warrior, self pity does not solve the problem. Get busy and make your life better.

Hi, let's talk about blood today. Anemia is one of the danger ss warrior face. But who ever told us that anything red gives blood is what I don't know. I know there are leaves that gives blood, but my people be careful of how you mix things. Don't try to solve one problem and create an even bigger one. Let's be guided.

I am a warrior, so let me talk about dehydration from my experience. If I don't drink enough water in a day, the coloration in my eyes is very intense, they became orange in colour and there's high possibility of running into pain crisis. So for warriors like me, let's try to drink at least 3L of water daily. And carers take note of the colour change in the eyes of your warrior and make sure they drink much water. I know it is not easy to keep track especially with children but let's try and be safe just by drinking water.
