3 VOICES, ONE STAND, UNITED AGAINST FEMICIDE!
Femicide cannot be fought by one person alone. It takes a community. Today, 3 key stakeholders from different sectors, Mr. Wirba Asan Litinyuy, Northwest Regional Delegate of women empowerment and the family, Mr. Emmanuel Anjonga, Project officer - UN women, and Mr. Nigel Mbaya Ngia Fomumbod, Programs Director of IVFCAM, stand together to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH to the killing of women and girls.
A regional delegate , a projects officer, and a programs officer, united by a pledge to protect, to speak out, and to ensure justice lives in our community.
When stakeholders unite, change is inevitable.
When communities act together, women and girls live.
This is what collective responsibility looks like.

Today, we are excited to present 5 more courageous men who have refused to stay silent. They have signed the pledge to denounce femicide and all forms of violence against women in their homes, relationships, and communities.
They are not just signing a form - they are choosing to be protectors, allies, and ambassadors for a peaceful, violence-free community. We celebrate their courage and leadership.
When men speak, communities listen. When men act, violence ends.
This is what accountability looks like. This is what real manhood looks like.

We cannot do this without you.

In continuation of the "Stop Femicide Campaign" organised on Thursday, August 3rd in Bamenda, CAMNAFAW launches an online campaign to engage men in a Call to End Femicide.
We are calling on EVERY MAN to stand up, denounce femicide, and advocate for a violence-free community for women and men.
Young university students have laid the foundation for this campaign, and now we call on men across our communities to stand with us.
Adjairu Yunus, Chea Gerald Nde Tetube, Mathias Tah, Sancho Kwanda (our Youth Forum President), and Yufonyuy Princely (our lead Community Manager) have already signed the pledge, committing to denounce all forms of violence against women, in their homes, their relationships, and their communities.
Silence protects abusers. Speaking out protects women and Men.
Being an ambassador for a peaceful, violence-free community starts with a choice to never stay silent when you witness violence against women, and to hold other men accountable when they don't.
Men, your voice matters most where it's needed most.

On Friday the 4th of September 2026, CAMNAFAW joined other Civil Society Organisations in the Stop Femicide Campaign. A campaign that brought together more than 1.000 women to decry femicide and every other forms of violence.
As a lead organisation in the promotion of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, it was only natural that CAMNAFAW took part in such a sensitisation.
CAMNAFAW's participation in the stop femicide campaign was a social responsibility and a commitment to promote human rights and gender equality. Our intention was to add our voice to that of other Civil Society Organisations to sensitise the public and raise awareness around Femicide and other forms of violence. It was a platform for us to break the silence and denounce femicide/violence. It was an avenue to tell women and girls not to stay silent in violence. It was a call to end not only femicide but every form of violence. It was equally a moment to mourn the victims of femicide.
Our message on this day and always is "there is no Justification to femicide. Every life matters and should not be wasted. Femicide is not a solution to the problem, dialogue is much more better. Break the silence and end every form of violence".
Kudos to all who took part in this campaign especially the women led Civil Society Organisations under the lead of WACameroon. And the suport of MINPROF, UNFPA, etc.
