We recently had the pleasure of hosting a lunch and Scent Bar experience at M Social Auckland.
Guests explored a selection of botanicals and fragrance notes before creating their own personalized scent to take home.
One of our favourite parts of every Scent Bar is seeing how differently people interpret the same collection of notes, resulting in fragrances that are completely unique to them.
A fragrance inspired by wet concrete! Cool, dry, and quietly unexpected.
During one of our workshops, Tommy created a scent with shiso, cubeba, and dill, blending them into something atmospheric, modern, and completely his own.

Why do perfumers use a 0.001 g precision scale?
When you’re formulating a fragrance, every ingredient matters. Some raw materials are so powerful that a difference of just a few milligrams can completely change the balance of a perfume. A 0.001 g scale allows us to measure these materials with incredible accuracy, ensuring every formula is consistent, repeatable, and true to the original creation.
