2. Rodolfo Borrell- The Table by de Ferrari Borrell 🇩🇴
☝🏼What was the main creative challenge you had to solve?
The main creative challenge was to break the taboo: to educate people, and get them to observe and act on the color of their f***s without sensationalizing or making the subject embarrassing or alarming. We had to turn an intimate issue into an acceptable and repeatable intervention at the right moment, redesigning an everyday object (toilet paper) as an educational tool with a clinically valid color palette and messages combining medical expertise and empathy. We also had to spark public conversation about a topic that nobody wanted to talk about; toilet paper worked as a trigger. Design innovation and private self-checking allowed people to talk, learn and take health actions without exposure or shame.
☝🏼What makes an idea relevant in health & wellness?
In my opinion, a Health & Wellness idea is relevant when it solves a real health problem with empathy, evidence, behavioral changes, and when it facilitates access to prevention or care. It must meet four criteria (not in order of priority): 1) clinical validity — be supported by data and experts; 2) practical utility — provide clear and achievable action at a decisive moment; 3) cultural sensitivity — respect taboos and barriers to reduce friction; 4) scalability and measurement — allow impact tracking (behavior, queries, tests). If it also generates public conversation without stigmatization and creates a direct bridge to clinical services, the idea not only informs but can become a life-saving tool.

Selection of the Grand Prix took place on June 4 at the Renaissance Hotel in Barcelona. Following the evaluation, the Saniss judges were joined by brands, winners and industry leaders for a networking dinner and cocktail. The gathering also included a forum, “Healthy Creative Communications: A challenge for brands, agencies and the media,” featuring 3 influential advertisers from Spain’s health sector.
Saniss continued its agenda in Santiago de Chile, on June 11 in Santiago de Chile, where a regional networking event was held for jurors, winners, and marketing managers in Latin America.

During the specialized health forum held on June 4 during the 2026 Saniss Awards, hosted at the Renaissance Barcelona, experts in communication, marketing and health analyzed the challenges faced by brands today in a media environment increasingly influenced by information overload and artificial intelligence. Forum experts included: María Matachana of Nestlé, Claudia Prat of AB- BIOTICS, and Sara de Frutos of Almirall. Miguel Rico of BAM joined us as the forum moderator.
