Goodbye, Paris. 🇫🇷
You were once a faraway dream. Decades later, I finally got to experience you through the eyes of my boys—wandering your streets, climbing the Eiffel Tower, standing beneath masterpieces at the Louvre, and ending each day with tired feet and full hearts.
We’ll trade boulevards for the Brittany coast now, but this chapter was one we’ll remember.
À bientôt, Paris. ❤️

Made it to Paris! 🇫🇷
If we knew then what we know now, we probably would’ve stayed a little longer in the dunes of Overveen(just outside Amsterdam). 🌾🚲🌊 The peaceful forests, endless bike paths, and North Sea beaches were hard to leave.
Decades ago, Paris felt like a faraway dream. Now I’m here with my very French crew-a French husband and three French boys. ❤️
This time, I’m finally going to do something that’s somehow escaped me after two previous trips: visit the Louvre. Third time’s the charm. 🖼️
We’ve got some other fun adventures planned too, and while our cozy house outside Amsterdam definitely wins for relaxation and a slower pace, Paris always has a way of reminding you why it’s one of the world’s great cities.
I’m also enjoying being mostly phone-free and simply soaking it all in. Photos eventually to come… ❤️✨

☀️ Summer Travel mode: ON.
Miami family time filled our hearts ❤️-making memories with my brother, Bodhi, Vanessa, and the girls before the next adventure begins.
✈️ Next stop… Amsterdam! 🇳🇱
A little airline luck was on our side—there were only two Business Class seats available, so Mommy & Papa got the upgrade while the boys are holding down coach. 😆 They’ve been lucky enough to enjoy some amazing flights over the years, so they’re taking this one like champs… and they’re on the upgrade list for a little extra comfort on the flight home! 🤞✈️
Now… bring on Dutch adventures:
🚲 Cycling through the city
🚤 Cruising the canals
🧀 Sampling way too much Gouda
🥞 Stroopwafels & poffertjes
🌬️ Windmills and charming countryside
🏖️ Exploring the beautiful North Sea beaches and the incredible sand dunes
🧪 NEMO Science Museum
🌅 Long summer evenings and making memories together
Europe, we’re ready… let the adventure continue! 🇳🇱❤️

The gym has become such an integral part of my routine.
I’ve worked so hard this year to build my strength and endurance. I don’t want to lose that while traveling this summer.
It doesn’t have to be perfect everyday-just consistent.

🌱Variety may be one of the healthiest eating patterns of all.
Today’s bowl features sorghum, an ancient grain that’s naturally gluten-free and packed with fiber, minerals, and slow-digesting carbohydrates.
I cook and eat predominantly plants, but not exclusively. Today’s bowl includes half an egg for a little extra protein. If you’d prefer a fully plant-based version, simply swap the egg for a small serving of tofu.
Honey Dijon Dressing
• 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp honey
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
• Pinch of sea salt and black pepper
Whisk together and drizzle over the bowl.

This message is for anyone training hard and wondering why the results aren’t matching the effort.
This meal comes in at roughly 500 calories, but the number isn’t the point.
The point is that a plate built around protein, fiber, healthy fats, and whole foods can keep you satisfied, support recovery, and still help create a calorie deficit.
That’s something I’ve been learning over the past year.
For months, I focused on building strength, improving fitness, and supporting recovery while training up to 12 hours a week.
The result?
I got stronger.
I got fitter.
I built muscle.
I also gained some weight.
That’s the part social media rarely talks about.
Building muscle, recovering well, and staying in a calorie deficit at the same time is hard.
Could I track every calorie and every morsel of food?
Sure.
But I’d rather focus on the fundamentals:
• Protein
• Whole foods
• Strength training
• Recovery
• Sleep
• Consistency
Now I’m shifting into a small calorie deficit before summer.
Not by starving myself.
Not by adding hours of cardio.
Just by being a little more intentional.
I’ve spent months building.
Now it’s time to slowly reveal what’s underneath.

Investing in yourself isn’t vanity.
It’s care.
Health.
Sleep.
Hormones.
Strength.
Teeth.
Breathing.
Recovery.
Less than 9 months separates these photos.
I started SureSmile aligners less than 9 months ago.
My top teeth honestly were never that bad…
but keeping my wisdom teeth until my late 30s slowly pushed already slightly crooked teeth into more crowding over time.
And over the last few years, I started to feel self-conscious about it too.
What started as “just teeth” made me pay closer attention to everything connected to airway health, breathing, sleep, and recovery too.
Next up?
My nose.
Not from a place of perfection-
but because my sinuses are riddled with polyps and I have a deviated septum.
You never realize how important proper breathing is until you’re dealing with chronic issues.
Sleep quality. Recovery. Energy. Hormones. Workouts. Mood. Everything becomes connected.
After nearly 9 months of consistently pushing myself physically, I can feel how much poor sleep and restricted breathing impact recovery now.
Midlife has a way of making you listen to your body differently.
None of this changes overnight.
But little by little, the shifts add up.
Not done yet…
but I’m really happy I started. ✨
