Great turn-out for all classes today 😊

1215pm was Prop-Free which started with a 30 second (ISH) Plank 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ...in my defence, I do always inform people of my counting INability 😇😈😈😈

🪄🎩 530pm - Magic Circles/soft balls, and it was a 'great honour' to host my brilliant Personal Trainer (I didn't immediately think 'REVENGE' honestly 🤪🤪🤪)

🎩🪄 630pm also Magic Circles, and honestly, it’s such a boost seeing how much progress everyone’s made — the jumps in core strength are seriously impressive. 👌

🥳🥳🥳🥳 WELL DONE TO EVERYONE, have a brilliant weekend 😀

Due to some form of bug (possibly norovirus) I've been out of action 🤮

Will be back tomorrow for Spin 715am, but DEFINITELY not expecting sympathy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sunday 10km done with Mrs R who was such a ray of sunshine 🌞 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (the wind had it, the pretty little Wood Pigeons had it 🤣🤣🤣🤣)

A few cheeky sneaky 'inclines' but thanks to Happy Larry, I found a new route which was mostly pleasant, except for the uneven Tan-y-Bwlch bit 🤪

Finished at HQ a.k.a The Hut for a well earned coffee ☕️ with The South Swimming Belles 🏊‍♀️

A complete rest-day today 😴

No swim, no golf, no classes, just a day of total relaxation, just a couple of chilled dog walks 😎🐶🐶🐶

☺️☺️☺️☺️Key Benefits of Rest Days

▶️ Muscle Repair: Exercise creates tiny tears in muscle fibers. Rest allows cells to rebuild these fibers stronger and larger.

▶️ Energy Replenishment: Workouts drain your body's stored carbohydrates, known as glycogen. Rest days let these energy stores refill fully.

⛔️⛔️Injury Prevention: Overtraining strains tendons, ligaments, and joints. Breaks lower the risk of overuse injuries and accidents caused by physical fatigue.⛔️⛔️

▶️ Mental Reset: Taking time off lowers stress and mental burnout, keeping your motivation high for your next session.

Three classes, three challenges; 2 music challenges and 1 stability challenge 😊

The stability challenge focused on pelvic stability, using the balls 🥎

🔵 Bird-Dog - the ball (or block) is placed on the sacral area, the limbs are taken into extension, ensuring the hips stay level
🟣 Curl-Ups - the ball is placed on the knees/shins which are set-up in table top, then the curl-ups are executed keeping the hips stable and strong 💪
(There MAY have been a few pulses on the final curl-up 😈😈🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪)
