The moment I found out I had bowel cancer it spun my world upside down 😭

I questioned everything! Why me? Why us? Why now?
What have I done to deserve this?
My story can’t be over!
I’ve just started living!
I need to see my grandchildren grow up, my youngest son become a man, I’ve not had my wedding day yet! It’s not fair!

I’ve cried, I’ve got angry, ive been positive, I’ve researched how can I kill this thing inside me by myself if there’s nothing the hospital can do for me!

I’ve had a ct scan and been told it has NOT spread to other organs which was a huge relief, and gives me hope 🙏

I know the fight isn’t over. Major surgery is coming in Sept for part of my intestines to be removed. Will I need a stoma bag? Will they find something else? Who knows but I’m not giving up. I WILL beat this!!

I’m so grateful for the love and support from family friends and regular clients who saw me after my diagnosis ( sorry for the tears) but I couldn’t get through this difficult time alone without you. 💙

There will be a pause from work life from 18th Sept for the best part of 8 weeks whilst I recover from surgery.

Hoping to resume as soon as physically possible.
