I’m back in the salon today after being poorly for the last 2 weeks 😷 thank you to everyone who has sent get well messages. I’m so sorry to all clients who I’ve had to cancel. Over the past couple of months I’ve had a few minor health issues, which has unfortunately meant cancelling and rearranging some appointments. If you’ve been affected, I’m truly sorry.

This week I’ve been hit with the flu and feel so unwell. I’ve also been worrying about having to cancel clients again, as I hate letting people down and avoid cancelling appointments at all costs.

Being self-employed can be incredibly difficult when you’re unwell. There’s no one to step in, and every cancelled appointment brings the stress of rearranging my diary and disappointing people.

The reality is that I can’t help being ill. As much as I’d love to carry on, I’m simply not well enough to work this week, and I would never want to risk passing anything on to my clients. Your health is just as important as mine.

Thank you to everyone who has been understanding, patient and kind whenever I’ve needed to rearrange appointments.

A few people have asked what kind of nails and nail art I’ll be offering moving forward. Here are some examples of complex and intricate nail art that I feel are just above my skill set and I just don’t feel comfortable attempting. I want to feel confident that I’ve done a professional job and that I feel happy with the finished product when clients leave the salon.
