Last weekend I headed down to Bristol for an amazing Myofascial Release course with .in.touch and honestly… it was brilliant!

We covered loads of really interesting theory, picked up a bunch of new techniques, and I got to meet some lovely like-minded therapists too.

Probably the first class in ages where I didn’t zone out once during the whole 4 days🤣

I’ve already started using some of the MFR stuff on clients this week and the results have been genuinely impressive so far! Really excited to bring these techniques into sessions and share them with you all soon🧖‍♂️

I used to think cupping was a bit gimmicky. Even after finishing my cupping course, I didn’t enjoy the suction feeling at first or any noticeable benefit at first. The class felt rushed with barely any muscle warmup, so I left thinking I’d wasted my money.
But I’d already bought the equipment, so I figured why not experiment on my partner (better than letting it collect dust😩).

I started combining cupping with back massage, and the relief was noticeable. Then I wondered if it was just the massage doing the work, so I tried cupping alone after a gentle tissue warmup. It still released deep tightness without needing intense deep tissue work.
That’s when I became a believer! Now I always add cupping to my massage sessions to tackle stubborn tightness. It creates decompression that hands alone can’t always achieve.
