Skin rolling! 🤚🤚

No, not kneading the skin with a rolling pin!

🐴It is a form of myofasica release... What is this you say??

🐴Well Fascia is “a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place.”

🐴And myo means muscle.

🐴This covers the entire body and can affect the way horse (and us) moves!

🐴So why does it need a releasing? Well fascia can be come tight, through injury, general movement, long periods of exercise, repetitive strain. Which all of the above can be caused by not moving correctly, poor confirmation, farriery, saddlery and more. It can sometimes be the reason to why your horse and your horse feels stiff.

🐴Skin rolls can release the fascia and help with movement. If you have ever had your fascia release through massage/physiotherapy you would say you feel so much looser after.

This is included in all of my massages. So book in to avoid disappointment!
