I’ve always, always wanted to shoot on film because I think it’s so beautiful. I make pathetic attempts to recreate the effect with editing in my own work but there’s nothing quite like the real thing, is there? So this, plus being shot by a truly great visual artist like Maud, was a huge treat for me.
