I’m Libby, the face behind By Libby!

If you’re new here, welcome! And if you’ve supported me along the way, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I honestly couldn’t be here without you.

I thought it was about time I introduced myself again since opening and shared why By Libby means so much to me.

My journey into hairdressing began 8 years ago with one simple goal: to help people feel confident in themselves. I quickly fell in love with not only the creativity of hair, but the connections you build with every person who sits in your chair. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone leave feeling confident and like the best version of themselves.

Over the years, I’ve continued to grow, learn, and refine my skills, but my passion has always stayed the same: making every client feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Creating By Libby was about so much more than beautiful hair. I wanted to build a space where you can walk through the door, relax, and feel completely yourself.

As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I understand that traditional salon environments can sometimes feel overwhelming. The noise, busy atmosphere, and pressure to always make conversation aren’t for everyone, and that’s okay.

That’s why I created a private, one to one salon experience.

At By Libby, every appointment is just for you. No crowded salon, no rushing, and no pressure. Whether you love to chat, prefer quiet, need breaks, or just want some time to yourself, this is your safe space.

My chair is a place for everyone. Every age, every background, every identity, and every story. My goal is for you to leave not only loving your hair, but feeling relaxed, understood, and confident.

I truly believe luxury isn’t just about beautiful hair, it’s about how you’re made to feel. Feeling listened to. Feeling cared for. Feeling comfortable being yourself.
