We study the science of the hair and scalp, otherwise known as Trichology.
This is PRP, start to finish.
A small sample of your own blood, spun to separate out the platelets, then applied to the scalp. Growth factors that were inside you twenty minutes earlier โ nothing synthetic added.
ยฃ175 a session, or a course of three for ยฃ495.
Whether it's the right answer depends on your diagnosis, and that's what the consultation is for. I'll tell you straight if it isn't.

Going to bed with wet hair? It won't cause hair loss โ but it isn't doing you any favours. ๐
Hair is at its weakest when it's wet. The strands swell, stretch more easily, and become far more prone to breakage, split ends and damage from friction.
Then you sleep on it. Your head moves against the pillow all night, and that friction on already-weakened hair means snapping and tangling โ especially on longer or finer hair.
There's a scalp side to it too. A damp scalp under a pillow creates a warm, enclosed environment, which can encourage irritation, itching, flaking, and overgrowth of yeast or bacteria. That doesn't mean you'll get dandruff. But if you're already prone to scalp conditions, it can make them worse over time.
And the morning after: wet hair knots more overnight, and detangling it while it's still fragile causes more breakage again.
To be clear, this doesn't cause genetic hair loss. But consistent breakage, irritation and inflammation do affect hair quality and density over time.
If it's unavoidable, gently squeeze out the excess, get it as dry as you reasonably can first, and a silk or satin pillowcase will cut the friction.

You may have seen it called the "salmon DNA facial". Understandably, that raises eyebrows.
The treatment behind the headline is far more sophisticated than the nickname suggests โ so here's what's actually happening.
Polynucleotides (or PDRN) are highly purified DNA fragments. They're typically derived from salmon DNA, which has a remarkably similar molecular structure to human DNA. The purification process removes all biological material and leaves only the DNA fragments โ which means no salmon protein in the final product, and no allergy risk.
What makes them interesting is what they do once they're in the skin.
Unlike fillers, they don't add volume or plump out a line directly. They work as biostimulators โ substances that instruct your own cells to work more efficiently and rebuild the skin's underlying structure from within.
The treatment uses a needling process to create micro-channels, through which the polynucleotide serum is delivered into the deeper layers of the tissue.
Poly-needling from ยฃ145.

Lathering your hair in oil before bed? We'd gently suggest not. ๐ซ
Hair oiling has had a huge resurgence, and the oils themselves aren't the problem. It's the overnight part.
Two things happen while you sleep in it:
โข Friction. Oiled hair creates more drag against your pillow, and more drag means more breakage โ particularly on longer or finer hair.
โข Buildup. Oil sitting on the scalp for eight hours can clog follicles and irritate the skin. Your scalp is skin, and it doesn't want to be occluded all night.
The fix isn't to abandon the oil. It's to change when you use it.
Use it as a pre-wash treatment instead: work it through the scalp and lengths, leave it 30โ60 minutes, then shampoo out. You get the conditioning benefit without a whole night of friction and buildup.
Same oil. Better timing.

New month. If you've been meaning to do something about your hair, here's the honest version of what that actually takes. ๐๏ธ
Hair works on cycles measured in months, not weeks. Which means the thing that shifts density isn't one treatment โ it's consistency across a year.
That's what the membership programmes exist for:
โข Tonic membership โ from ยฃ10/month
ยฃ10 off treatments every month, discounted products, and access to the support groups.
โข Hair growth programmes โ from ยฃ90/month
12-month structured plans across Essential, Premium and Elite tiers. PRP, LLLT, micro-needling and more, scheduled rather than ad hoc.
โข Skin care plans โ from ยฃ40/month
Essential, Premium and Elite, with savings over 6โ12 months.
The point isn't really the discount. It's that progress gets tracked, treatments happen on a schedule instead of whenever you remember, and the plan gets adjusted as your hair responds.
If you started in October, you'd be a full year in by next autumn โ with actual data behind you instead of a vague sense that it might be a bit better.

At the far end of what's currently possible in hair restoration sit two regenerative options. They get talked about constantly and explained almost never โ so here they are, plainly.
๐ฌ Exosome treatment โ a course of six
Advanced exosome serums delivered into the scalp via micro-channelling, on a schedule built around you. Exosomes are signalling vesicles: the messengers cells use to tell other cells what to do.
๐ฌ Stem-cell restoration (PTT_6ยฎ) โ a six-week course
One session per week for six weeks.
Both are ยฃ995 for the course, with maintenance sessions from ยฃ200.
These sit at the top of the menu, and they are not where most people should start. A consultation comes first, always โ because spending ยฃ995 on the wrong protocol for your diagnosis helps nobody, least of all you.
If you've been reading about exosomes and wondering whether they'd actually do anything for your situation, ask me. You'll get a straight answer either way.

The treatment nobody expects to cost ยฃ15. ๐ก
Low-level light therapy โ LLLT โ uses specific wavelengths of red light to support activity at the follicle. It's painless, there's nothing to recover from, and a session takes around seven minutes.
Seven minutes. You could genuinely do it on a lunch break.
It works best as a consistent habit rather than a one-off, which is exactly why it sits inside the hair growth programmes rather than being sold as a miracle on its own.
ยฃ15 per session.
It isn't right for every type of hair loss, and it's no substitute for finding out what's actually causing yours. But for the right person, as part of a plan, it's one of the easiest things in the whole menu to keep up with โ and consistency is most of the battle.
Ask at your consultation whether it's worth adding to yours.

More men in the UK are on TRT than ever โ and we're seeing more of them in clinic.
Testosterone replacement does a lot of good. Energy, strength, focus, libido. But testosterone converts into DHT, and in men with a genetic sensitivity, DHT is the driver behind male pattern hair loss.
So when levels aren't balanced properly for you as an individual, hair is often the first place it shows up: growth cycles shorten, shedding picks up, hair gets finer, and recession accelerates in the areas you were already predisposed to lose.
The issue usually isn't the testosterone itself. It's the lack of oversight around it โ treatment sourced privately, inconsistent bloods, no structured follow-up.
Your prescriber handles the hormone side. What I can do is assess the hair side properly, track density over time, and flag early when something is shifting โ because early intervention protects density in a way that noticing two years later does not.
If you're on testosterone, or thinking about starting, don't let your hair be the thing nobody is watching.
