If you’d rather avoid the queues and waiting times in busy barber shops, why not book an appointment with me instead?

You can still expect a high-quality, barber-standard haircut, with the added benefit of having plenty of time dedicated to you. I have several years of barbering experience and have also worked in some of the busiest salons in Leeds city centre.

For me, quality comes before quantity. I don’t believe in rushing through haircuts just to get the next client in the chair. When you book with me, I take my time, pay attention to the details and make sure you leave with a haircut you’re genuinely happy with. ✂️

And for mums bringing their sons in for a haircut — your son will receive a great haircut while you can relax in the comfortable waiting area and enjoy a nice drink while you wait. ☕😊

✨ Blonde Transformation | Foils & Lightening ✨

My lovely client recently moved to the area and was looking for a new hairdresser — and I was delighted to welcome her to my chair. 🤍

Although blonde colouring and highlighting can sometimes look like a simple process, there is a lot of professional knowledge and skill behind achieving a beautiful, healthy result.

With a foil highlight, every little detail matters — from assessing what the hair structure can safely handle, choosing the right lightener and strength of developer, selecting the appropriate products, and knowing exactly how long to leave them on the hair.

The technical side is just as important. Correct foil placement, neat sectioning and ensuring the product stays where it should without bleeding or leaking are all essential to creating an even, clean and beautiful blonde result. ✨

My client had previously had similar lightening and highlighting work done, so this time I only needed to focus on her regrowth. I refreshed the roots using a foil highlighting technique and, rather than applying a traditional toner afterwards, I used a toning silver shampoo to neutralise unwanted yellow tones.

As you can see, the result is a beautiful, clean and fresh blonde. 🤍✨

🧴 Your at-home routine matters too!

A beautiful salon result doesn't stop when you leave the salon. Your at-home haircare routine is just as important if you want your hair to stay healthy, shiny and beautiful between appointments.

There is no hair that will simply stay looking salon-perfect without the right care afterwards. What you do at home — and especially which products you use — can make a huge difference.

This transformation is a great example of how even one carefully selected professional product, such as a quality silver shampoo, can make a noticeable difference to blonde hair and help maintain the tone between salon visits. 💜

Free-Hand Techniques ✨ | Soft, Natural & Beautifully Blended

It was lovely to welcome this client back after two months! 🤎

At her previous appointment, we started creating beautiful warm tones throughout her hair. As the colour was not permanent, some fading after two months was completely natural, along with the appearance of new growth. However, I was really pleased with how beautifully the warm tones had still remained in her hair.

This time, we wanted to keep the warmth, but create a slightly lighter, brighter overall look while maintaining a soft and natural result.

One of my favourite techniques to work with is free-hand colouring, so I decided to use a Free-Hand Speed Balayage with clay lightener. This allowed me to gradually brighten a large amount of the hair while creating a beautiful, seamless transition without harsh lines.

💡 Free-hand techniques can also be a great option for finer or more delicate hair, as they can provide a more controlled and gentle approach compared with traditional foil highlighting.

After lightening, I washed the hair and created a bespoke colour combination using a toner:

🤎 A beautiful, warm medium mocha brown for the main colour
🍯 A soft, warm caramel tone through the lighter areas

We also refreshed the shape with a haircut and finished the appointment with a Redken ABC Intensive Treatment to help maintain the hair’s condition, strength and shine. ✨

I absolutely loved the final result — warm, dimensional, soft and naturally blended. 🤎
