I’ve had a few consultations this week with clients who have more complex medical histories, and every one of them has been a reminder that aesthetics is about so much more than the treatment itself.

The most important part of any appointment is ensuring that a treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

Being a nurse and a prescriber means I can confidently explore your medical history, discuss any medications or conditions that may affect treatment, minimise risks, and create a treatment plan that puts your wellbeing first.

Sometimes that means adjusting a treatment. Sometimes it means delaying it. And occasionally, it means deciding that a treatment isn’t the right choice at all.

I absolutely love the treatments themselves and the skill involved in creating beautiful results, but I think I love reviews even more (I know I keep saying it 🫣)

One of my favourite things to hear is, “Nobody noticed, but I feel so much better in myself.” That fear of looking “done” is very real when you’re considering aesthetic treatments, and it’s something many clients share before taking the plunge.

One of the things I love most about doing this isn’t the treatment itself , it’s the reaction afterwards.

The smile when you hand over the mirror.
The boost in confidence when clients see a feature they’ve been self-conscious about looking softer, more balanced, or more refreshed.
The pleasant surprise when my lovely clients realise subtle changes can make such a difference.

I definitely have shared a few excited smiles and may have even clapped a couple of times this week when clients saw their results… don’t judge 😂

There is nothing better than seeing someone leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.

It’s only 8:30am and the Saturday clinic is already full and buzzing. We started bright and early at 8am, which suits me perfectly as an early bird!

I’m not usually one for sharing before & after photos, but these results were too lovely not to share ✨

One of the biggest concerns I hear from clients is looking “overdone” or obvious after filler treatment — and this is exactly why subtle, tailored treatments matter so much.

This client had just 0.5ml of filler using a combination of injection techniques to create a little soft volume, but more importantly definition and structure.

Natural results will always be my priority 🤍
