And the third wallhanging of the series works with rectangular printed shapes and the layering of different coloured maze designs over the top.

The second of the three features this bold red triangle cutting across the design. It has a very graphic feel.

New Wallhangings

I’ve designed 3 square(ish) wallhangings all working with blocks of contrasting colours forming a grid or pattern underneath areas of print to form an exciting tension between the two.

These three wallhangings are on show in FORNO - LEYTONSTONE for the Leytonstone Arts Trail trail.

Exciting lunchtime installing my work in FORNO - LEYTONSTONE for the Leytonstone Arts Trail trail.

The pieces explore my mixed French and English heritage and all of the textile pieces are hand screen printed onto vintage French linens and experiment with colour, placement and pattern. Old and new combine, both stories mixing together to form something new that is one of a kind.

I’m so thrilled to be showing them in this beautiful space and think they work so well with the rust floors and burnt biscuit walls.

Had a wonderful time meeting new people, talking print and exploring the beautiful gallery and gardens.
