The most common thing I see is someone booking a day or two before something big, wanting to look their best, not realising some things need a little breathing room to settle and look their absolute best. It's never their fault. Nobody tells you the running order. So here it is:

✨ 4-6 weeks out — skin prep. Facials to sort texture and tone before anything else happens.
✨ 2-4 weeks out — your trial. Lashes or brows, so there's time to tweak if it's not quite right.
✨ 1 week out — final touch-ups. Smooth, camera-ready skin, no last-minute risks.
✨ The day before — light finishing touches. Nothing heavy, just calm and glowing.
✨ The big day — makeup application. Full glam, timed perfectly around hair and photos.

Get the sequence right and you walk into your event looking effortless, like you just happen to look like that. Get it wrong and you're either rushing or covering something that needed a few more days.
