Waddle into play

🐑 Cotton-wool sheep
A great fine motor skills activity for babies and toddlers. This is an activity that must be supervised by parents.
Fine motor development – Picking up the small cotton-wool balls and placing them onto the sticky tape encourages toddlers to use their fingers and hands. This helps develop the pincer grip.

Hand-eye coordination – Children have to look at the sheep and coordinate their hands to place the cotton wool where they want it.

Sensory development – Cotton wool provides a soft, fluffy texture that children can touch, squeeze and explore.

Exploration and curiosity – The sticky tape introduces an interesting new experience: the cotton wool sticks when they press it down.Language development – While doing the activity, you can talk about words such as sheep, wool, soft, fluffy, sticky, white, press, pull, and stick. You could also make sheep sounds.

Messy days at 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞, we set up activities for your little ones to be able to do at the table as well as some outdoor activities.
There are benches outside, so you can take your drink and sit in the sun while watching your little one play.
Then cool off back in the play room 💗

Join us Monday at 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞 for a fun filled beach session. We have everything you need for the perfect beachy photos, fun, and creations⛱️

As the summer holidays are approaching just a reminder that we are a 0-5 play cafe however siblings aged 5+ are more than welcome to bring their own activities & sit in the cafe side. Unfortunately they are not allowed in the play room. Over the summer we will have activities out on some of the tables such as, colouring, playdoh etc.

We took a break due to trying to sell our house, chicken pox and other toddler illnesses that we did not want to pass on but... we have decided to join Reign & Shine Play Cafe again for a cute summer session☀️
