Waddle into play

To support the work Saints Nuneaton are doing to make affordable activities and food for parents and children we are going to be doing a seasonal craft session.

Pay what you can afford at the table💕

Friday 23rd October we will be at Saints Nuneaton to do some halloween crafts for you to take home 🎃

🐑 Cotton-wool sheep
A great fine motor skills activity for babies and toddlers. This is an activity that must be supervised by parents.
Fine motor development – Picking up the small cotton-wool balls and placing them onto the sticky tape encourages toddlers to use their fingers and hands. This helps develop the pincer grip.

Hand-eye coordination – Children have to look at the sheep and coordinate their hands to place the cotton wool where they want it.

Sensory development – Cotton wool provides a soft, fluffy texture that children can touch, squeeze and explore.

Exploration and curiosity – The sticky tape introduces an interesting new experience: the cotton wool sticks when they press it down.Language development – While doing the activity, you can talk about words such as sheep, wool, soft, fluffy, sticky, white, press, pull, and stick. You could also make sheep sounds.
