Hypno Sound
Hypno Sound group sessions blend mindfulness, neuroscience and hypnosis to improve your health & life
HypnoSound®️ began as my attempt to take hypnosis beyond the traditional one-to-one therapy room and into a more mainstream setting.
It started with group relaxation sessions - a simple idea of creating a shared space where people could slow down, breathe, listen and experience hypnosis in an accessible way.
From there, HypnoSound®️ evolved.
My scripts became a way of combining hypnosis, therapeutic storytelling, guided imagery, reflection and the power of sound. What began as an experiment has gradually become something bigger: a model that other therapists are beginning to use within their own work.
In that sense, HypnoSound®️ is becoming a little bit of a movement — built around the belief that therapeutic stories can be shared, adapted and experienced in many different settings, while still leaving listeners free to make the experience their own.
At the heart of it all is a belief that healing doesn’t always mean fixing.
Sometimes it means creating enough space, safety and quiet for something already within us to emerge.
These scripts are offered in that spirit.
Listen gently.
Stay curious.
Take what is useful.
And allow your own story to unfold.
Hi. I’m Patti and I’m the founder of HypnoSound®️
Your own timeline.
Your own values.
Your own pace.
Your own peace.
Your own sense of “everything is just the way it needs to be”
That what matters.
Not what someone else thinks 🩶
When your nervous system is overwhelmed, you switch off your senses.
When your senses are switched off, you stop feeling.
When your stop feeling, you don’t feel alive.
And that’s when disconnection happens. You’re not wrong for wanting to tone down the noise. You just need to do it in a healthy manner 🩶

If you think that your life can’t get better.
If you think that you that nothing can change.
If you think that the way you were programmed cannot be adjusted.
THAT IS A LIE.
Just the way you replay the scenes from the past which inform your thought, feelings and beliefs, you can also start playing the scenes of your harmonious future.

Hypnosis vs Mindfulness
Hypnosis and mindfulness can sometimes feel similar because both can involve relaxation, reduced mental distraction, a quieter stream of thoughts, and a strong sense of being absorbed in the present experience. However, they differ in the way attention is used.
In mindfulness, the emphasis is on observing experience clearly. A person may notice sensations, thoughts, emotions, sounds, or bodily feelings as they arise, without necessarily trying to change them. Attention can be gently brought back to the present moment whenever it wanders. In this sense, mindfulness is about being aware of what is happening.
In hypnosis, the emphasis is more on absorption and focused experience. Attention may become concentrated on a particular sensation, image, idea, or suggestion, while other aspects of awareness become less prominent. Suggestions may be used to influence how someone experiences sensations, thoughts, emotions, or behaviour.
For example, while sitting in sunlight, a mindful experience might be: “I notice the warmth on my skin, the sounds around me, and the thoughts passing through my mind.” A hypnotic-like experience might involve becoming so absorbed in the warmth that everything else fades into the background, perhaps accompanied by a suggestion such as feeling increasingly relaxed.
Therefore, although both can produce a calm or trance-like feeling, mindfulness is primarily about awareness and observation, whereas hypnosis is more associated with focused absorption and responsiveness to suggestion. Neither is necessarily “deeper” than the other; they simply organize attention in different ways.
When we become deeply absorbed in a story, we enter a state psychologists call narrative transportation.
In this state, the brain shifts into patterns similar to light hypnotic focus — your analytical mind quiets down… and imagination becomes more active.
Hypnosis often uses metaphors and stories for this reason.
Stories bypass resistance, engage emotion, and allow the brain to explore new perspectives safely.
It’s a natural pathway to suggestion and mental change.
A quiet “I’ll try again tomorrow.”
Getting out of bed when life feels heavy.
Choosing yourself, even in the smallest way.
Simply surviving a hard season without giving up.
Not every kind of progress looks like achievement.
Sometimes, progress is rest.
Sometimes, it’s healing.
Sometimes, it’s just making it through the day.
And that counts, too. 🤍
You don’t have to be moving fast to be moving forward.

Our mind and body are not separate worlds. The thoughts we carry, the stress we hold, the emotions we suppress, and the stories we repeatedly tell ourselves can shape the way we experience life — and, in many ways, how we experience our bodies.
This doesn’t mean that every physical illness is “all in the mind.” Illness is real, complex, and often has biological causes beyond our control.
Perhaps caring for our health means asking not only, “What does my body need?” but also:
“What does my mind need to feel at peace?”
The two are deeply connected. 🤍
