🐾💙 Small business supporting small business! 💙🐾
Yesterday I visited a lovely little pet shop in Wakefield Tails Pet Shop , and I just had to share it with you! 🥰

It’s a beautiful little shop packed with goodies for all kinds of pets — treats, toys and lots of other lovely things. 🐶🐱🐰
We had such a lovely chat.

❤️ I love discovering and supporting small businesses in our local area. We’re all working hard to build our businesses, so why not support and encourage each other? 🐾✨

So, if you’re in Wakefield and looking for some treats, toys or something special for your furry (or not so furry!) friend, I definitely recommend popping in and supporting this amazing little shop! 🛍️🐾

Because small businesses should support small businesses. 🤝❤️
Let’s help each other grow, one small business at a time! ✨

Thank you Kerrie Baker for letting me sharing this 🐾🐕🥰.

Dog walkers around Knottingley beware!!!!

There is a caravan at far end of Common Lane. I was just walking past doing my usual field walk and noticed a lot of chewed balls outside. I gave it a wide birth as Winnie can at times be reactive. A big dog (not sure of breed but bulky, black bulldog type..about same height as Winnie) ran out of the open door straight up in her face snarling and snapping.

I recognise the dog as it belongs to the small long haired male traveller that has set up a fort at back of Howard's field. He is crackers as I've witnessed him running down canal playing a bloody mouth whistle thing with said dog off lead running beside him.

Winnie went straight in for it in retaliation and she took some restraining. It backed off and he ran out and said ' I can't watch her all the time!!!!' Don't get me started on that!

I suggested in my usual polite tone that if he can't 'watch' her or leash her maybe a dog owner wasn't a suitable role for him.

If Winnie wasn't a big powerful dog this would deffo have been a bad situation. I've phoned 101 and expecting a call back.

I know a lot of local dog walkers that go that way daily with especially smaller dogs. Please be careful 💝

I will not change my favourite walking routes but am thinking of now taking video footage.

I had a run in with the same guy and his girlfriend 2 nights ago when I walked Winnie before bed and the same dog and another ran up off lead. He shouted abuse at that time when I shouted no and get your dog on a leash. Poor Winnie just wanted a poo in peace and they came running up.

This is a bad situation waiting to happen and I want it documented especially by the police for when it does.

That caravan needs moving and that dog needs restraining (or training and a better owner?)xx
