I help those who have suffered loss in their life to navigate beyond the fog of grief, and related issues, to lead a fully present life again.

Grief can make you stop doing things you never thought you would stop.

I experienced this when my Papa passed. I stopped praying too for some time. Until I found my way back to it when I felt ready.

My work is about making space for your grief emotions and questions, and also helping you find your way back to a life you actually want to be living, whether that means picking your rituals back up or building new ones from scratch.

That is the part I actually help my clients with, not just processing the loss, but finding their way back to themselves.

More time outside, more memories triggered by sun, and the smell of certain food, can make you feel further away from your loved one, especially in summer.

They may have physically transitioned, but the love never truly leaves you.

Your relationship continues, it just looks different now, and this is what I mean by the continuity of love.

I do this myself, on purpose…

If I am out driving or walking and I look up and a shape in the clouds appears that means something to me, I take that as a sign, a bit of guidance from my dad.

I do not go looking for it, I just stay open enough to notice it when it is there.

These are not coincidences, like a particular song on the radio, a bird that will not leave the garden, a feeling out of nowhere.

The more you talk yourself out of them, the more you miss what they are actually trying to tell you.

Trusting it will not bring them back, but what it does do is let you keep feeling connected to them, instead of like the whole relationship ended the day they did, and that is the actual difference it makes.

Grief that keeps taking things away from you feels completely different to grief that lets you keep something of them close, and this is exactly what I help my clients build, the ability to trust what they notice instead of dismissing it, so the relationship keeps going instead of stopping the day they did.

If you want to actually trust what you notice instead of talking yourself out of it every time, that is exactly what we work on together on a Greatest Gift Exploration Call. Link in bio.

This is something that comes up a lot when I’m speaking to clients, comparing how you’re grieving to how your own sibling is grieving the exact same person.

One of you might go quiet about it, one of you might talk about it all the time, one of you might seem to be getting on with life within weeks while the other is still deep in it months later.

It is easy to start thinking whoever looks like they are coping better loved them more, or whoever is struggling harder loved them harder. Neither of those is true.

You did not have the same relationship with your dad that your sister did, even though he was the same person to both of you.

That is why your grief for him is allowed to look completely different to hers, and hers different to yours.

Comparing yourself to a sibling grieving the same person is still comparing loss, and it does not work any better than comparing your loss to someone else’s entirely.

Your grief looks the way it does because your relationship with him was its own thing, and that is worth actually sitting with, not measuring against anyone else’s version of missing him.

If this is you and a sibling, or you and someone else grieving, you are both allowed to grieve completely differently, and neither of you is doing it wrong.

Save this to send to them if it needs saying out loud.

One of my own resets, especially in spring and summer, is walking barefoot on the grass.

Sometimes I’ll do a few stretches out there, sometimes I just stand still and let the sun hit my face for a minute or two.

It’s such a small thing, which doesn’t fix or repair anything on its own, but it does bring me back into my body when everything else seems to be pulling me in all directions.

Sometimes grief, loss and change do that to you.

They pull you out of the present and into your head, replaying things, worrying about things.

I share this so you can give yourself somewhere to be for five minutes, before the day pulls you back in.

It does not need to be big to count, five minutes here and there is what keeps you connected to your own life while everything else is going on.

What’s your version of five minutes on the grass?

Tell me in the comments, I’d love to know what brings you back into your body.

It’s a myth that once you have done grief work, you stop crying.

That is not how it goes, not even for me.

Some years a certain date passes and I am completely fine.

Other years, like on my last birthday, it hits me out of nowhere and I am in tears again.

The difference is not whether I cry.

It is that I do not let it consume me anymore, and the tears are more out of love and a continuing bond, than pain and hurt.

Instead, I allow myself feel all the emotions.

I may just cry, write to my Papa, or talk to him, I make space to feel.

Like a rainbow after rain, my tears reflect my love.

And I let it move through me, and then I get on with my day.

The last part happens a lot quicker now, I’m more aware and have access to the right techniques to support me.

This is what healing after loss actually looks like, not the absence of tears.

If crying again makes you think you have gone backwards, you have not.

It just means you loved someone enough for it to still matter.

The tears are proof the connection never left, and that is the greatest gift in all of this, it never once asked you to stop loving them to prove you have healed.

If part of you has been waiting to feel nothing before you believe you have healed, that is the belief worth looking at properly, not the tears themselves.

If you are afraid that crying again means the work did not work, that fear alone is worth unpacking on a Greatest Gift Exploration Call. Link in bio.

Imagine actually wanting the life you rebuild, not just tolerating it because the old one is gone.

If after your loss, you are standing in the rubble of your old life trying to put it back together, that is exactly what we look at on a Greatest Gift Exploration Call, not rebuilding the old, building something new. Link in bio.

If more of this felt like you than you expected, that is not a coincidence.

This is not just for grieving a death, it is for anyone in the middle of something that changed their life without asking first.

Follow me for the reframes that make you look at your own loss differently, the reminder that grief does not have one shape, and the belief that whatever you are overcoming right now might actually be your greatest gift too.
