SHE Meets – 1st September at 1.30 pm

It’ll be lovely to see those who can join us for our relaxed walk and time together.

We’ll meet at our usual spot and decide on the route on the day, depending on the weather.

We’ll stop for refreshments along the way or at the end, whatever feels right on the day.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is your sign. You don’t need to know anyone… we’re a friendly, welcoming group.

One book. Many views. Lots of conversations 📖

This month we read The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, a thought-provoking read that gave us plenty to discuss.

With ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ being the most popular rating from the group, it’s safe to say this one was a hit!

We loved hearing everyone’s different perspectives and interpretations, with some really interesting conversations around the tables.

Our Book Club is currently at capacity, with a waiting list.

Although we’ve all been praying for rain, we were very pleased it stayed dry for our SHE Meets walk last night! ☀️

23 ladies joined us. It was so lovely to see familiar faces alongside lots of new ones, especially as joining something new can feel a little daunting.

We were also joined by Mr Potts 🐶 and Pandora 🐶 — both so beautiful! ❤️

During the evening, someone said that when they first arrived last night, they thought we all knew each other because everyone was chatting away… but no!Everyone is so welcoming, and it’s lovely to see how naturally conversations just flow within the group.

It’s one of the things that makes SHE Meets so special. ❤️

The walk was followed by drinks and good times The Peach Tree Restaurant, Shrewsbury who are always so welcoming and dog-friendly ❤️🐶❤️. Thank you !

A big thank you to Bicton Bells for organising such a fun and interesting evening for us. Your patience and guidance were so appreciated, and the delicious snacks too! 😋

It was lovely to welcome some new ladies today, alongside some familiar faces, even though many are away on holiday. 😎

We enjoyed a relaxed walk with lots of lovely chats along the way.
Some joined us for the walk, while others met us later for coffee.

We finished House Coffee Co , where we were looked after so well! Thank you! 😍

One of the loveliest things to hear is that new friendships are growing through SHE Meets, with ladies meeting up outside of our walks too. 💛

Lovely evening chatting about our first book, The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell, with a mix of different thoughts. The general consensus was that everyone enjoyed our first choice and it sparked a really engaging discussion.

Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We all had such a good time and the feedback from the ladies in our group has been amazing.🙏🏻

We were spoilt with such a kind gesture from the team The Peach Tree Restaurant, Shrewsbury a platter of fresh fruit for each table. A big thanks again for their hospitality, always so friendly and accommodating.
