FIRST SET OF LIPS ON DARKER PIGMENTATION 🤎💋

This beautiful client came to me wanting to soften and lighten naturally darker pigmentation on the lips.

When working on melanated lips, we don’t just “add pink” — we first have to neutralise and correct the cool/dark tones safely and gradually.

✨ At this first session:
• We focused on warming and lifting the darker areas
• Softened the cool undertones
• Created a more even base for future colour
• Maintained healthy lip tissue (no overworking!)

You can already see the top lip looking warmer and more balanced.

💭 What happens next?

At the second session (6–8 weeks):

• We assess how the pigment has healed
• Any remaining darker areas are further neutralised
• We can then add more brightness or a rosier tone
• Improve overall saturation and symmetry

Neutralisation is a process — especially on deeper pigmentation — and rushing it can cause damage or ashy results. I always prioritise healthy lips and long-term results 🤍
