THE BI-ANNUAL BOTCHED INKĀ® UPGRADE

August Savings: Use code AUGUST to save 30% on Botched InkĀ® specialist removal training

More Than Removal Training

August is not the month your business stops. It’s the month you decide what it becomes next

Will you continue offering generic removal treatments, using products from brands whose focus is elsewhere?

Or will you become part of Botched Ink®—a dedicated correction and removal brand, established within the PMU industry and increasingly recognised by clients searching for specialist help?

Botched InkĀ® gives you more than a product or certificate. It gives you a recognised specialist brand, structured training, professional positioning and a clearer reason for clients to choose you

Our products aren’t widely available through distributors or open supply. They’re reserved for official Botched InkĀ® technicians because we’ve never wanted to simply sell removal products

We’ve always wanted to build a recognised specialist brand, protect the standards behind the treatment, and strengthen the value of being part of it

Why Only Twice a Year?

The Bi-Annual Botched InkĀ® Upgrade takes place in January and August only

There isn’t a cycle of Black Friday deals, flash sales or repeated discounts throughout the year. January and August are our two dedicated Upgrade periods, although the offer itself may vary

We believe in our training, our brand and the ongoing support provided to official Botched InkĀ® technicians. Clients actively search for Botched InkĀ® treatments, and our Find a Technician Map continues to generate enquiries for the professional PMU artists listed on it

After nearly eight years in the PMU industry, we’ve built a reputation we’re proud of. Protecting that reputation also protects the strength and credibility of being an official Botched InkĀ® technician

If you’ve been thinking about becoming an official Botched InkĀ® technician, August is your opportunity

Outside January and August, our training returns to its standard price because we believe Botched InkĀ® is worth investing in—and so are you

🚨PSAā€¼ļø Saline BEFORE Laser!!

This is a post about Saline & Laser removal and how they can work together in harmony to give clients exactly what they want. But for this to happen, they need to be done in the correct order!! This needs to be known by clients and also laser techs, to give clients the best possible results in their PMU removal journey.

I have had numerous messages from new ladies recently who have opted to go down the removal route and jumped straight into laser removal because they have never been told there’s other options and they’ve never been told how best to remove their unwanted PMU. By doing this they’ve been left with fluorescent yellow pigment due to the fact that the laser machines can’t remove the yellow colour in the pigment, as it’s too similar to skin tone. This lovely client of mine pictured did an extra 3 sessions of laser (over the course of a year in total) after being told they’d definitely be gone each time, with them only getting brighter instead.

Now, saline removal CAN lift the yellow tones left over by laser but they are so much easier to remove when they are mixed in with all of the other colours that make up the brown pigments we use for PMU. So, to enable the best results for removal the best way to do it is to start with a few sessions of saline, to physically flush out the colour, and then when they are light enough you can finish off with a laser session if you wanted to, to completely remove them.

Everyone opts for laser first as it physically looks like it’s giving you the best results straight away because it gets rid of the darker colours first, but unless your old PMU is super diluted, in a few weeks you’ll be left with orange/yellow brows that were as bold as the old pigment you went in with. You really need to flush them out and dilute them as much as possible before turning to laser.

So please, if you know anyone or have clients who are looking to start their PMU removal journey that have incredibly saturated brows, please turn them to saline first. It can be a lengthy process, but it’ll be quicker than trying to remove the unwanted yellow tones from doing laser first!

Can we stop tattooing yellow brows and recommend saline removal!

Ladies… I keep preaching it and I won’t stop. Always have saline removal first!! It lifts all the colours up to surface and out. Laser can’t see yellow but when everything is lifted at the same time it seems to work on it.

I will send you for laser when I think it’s ready… or we stick with the saline. We have options.

My client came for a colour boost but we agreed on removal. That yellow just shines through like a bright light. These photos were taken in natural lighting.

The work isn’t mine but it’s amazing. I love to see other artists work up close and personal. I’m not afraid to admin that I get imposter syndrome sometimes and seeing these close up helped me realise I know what I’m doing 🤭

*waits for the backlash* whilst I know I’m entitled to my own opinion. I won’t ever work over yellow. These are two years old. Have healed amazing but that yellow is going nowhere fast.

Removal is a journey and all the more reason to do your research and find the right artist.

These brows have only been done once but because the strokes were packed in they have blurred into a solid brow (apart from the fronts where they are slightly better)

This is why I keep my brows nice and airy… they fade out better over time.

This was no doubt an organic pigment with a high load of carbon and they will take some shifting but this is a good amount to have lifted from one session.

Saline PMU & Microblading Removal soaks in then lifts the pigment up and out. It has a little side effect… it improves the skin as well!! šŸ™ŒšŸ»

I’ve done another session on these today. Excited to see them again in 8 wks time.

Removal isn’t about picking sides

It’s about decisions

Pigment, laser, saline, and knowing what to do

Whether you offer removal or not, this matters

The removal industry is shifting, again

Botched InkĀ® has always worked as a standalone method — and laser on PMU is here to stay

What’s changing is the conversation

I’ve been waiting for this

The industry is finally moving away from ā€œsaline vs laserā€ and toward ā€œwhat’s right for this caseā€

That’s how Botched Ink techs have been trained for years

In 2026, my focus is on sharing proof of what we’ve been building

Work smarter. Not harder

Today, 13 January, is Botched Ink’s birthday

I launched Botched Ink in 2019 with a series of live training events in London and Manchester, attended by so many techs who are still ordering Botched Ink from me all these years later

That’s trust. And here’s thanks ā˜ŗļø
