🚨 APPRENTICE WANTED 🚨

SMurph Engineering Ltd is looking for a motivated 16-year-old school leaver to join our team as an Apprentice Commercial Vehicle Body Builder.

Over the last 6 years we’ve trained 4 apprentices, with 3 of them still working with us today. We’re now looking for the next young person who wants to learn a trade and build a long-term career.

This isn’t a job where you’ll be making tea and sweeping floors all day. You’ll be hands-on from the start, learning a huge range of skills including:

✅ Hydraulic fitting
✅ Welding & fabrication
✅ Vehicle mechanics
✅ Automotive electrics
✅ Commercial vehicle body building
✅ Fault finding & repairs

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers building and repairing specialist commercial vehicles and equipment used across the UK.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Wants to learn and work hard
• Is reliable and punctual
• Has a good attitude and can take instruction
• Isn’t afraid to get stuck in
• Can handle a bit of workshop banter and be part of the team

No experience is required – just enthusiasm, common sense and a willingness to learn.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain qualifications, learn multiple trades and build a career in a growing engineering company.
