Celebrating our work and reflecting on the timeless skill at Hipwell, reminded us to take a look back at one of our projects which received a coveted Pencil.

Designed by this Award has a very special place in the Hipwell archives.

Binders don’t have to be boring!

We produce binders in various styles such as: lever arch, O or D ring mechanisms, as well as inner wing designs with Brass or Nickel binding screws.

We tailor to your specifications, and can use printed & laminated sheets or binding cloths & papers with foil blocking and/or de-bossed detailing to make your binders personal to you and your requirements.

A small run for a student, of Exposed spine - hand section sewn booklets. The sewing and thread went really well with the stitching theme inside.

I took these photos just under 10 years ago when I had a nursery of chicks tucked in the corner of the workshop. It was a warm & safe place I could rear them until they were big enough to join the rest of my flock 😄 They were however quite a distraction! 🤣 Happy Easter!
