FOR NMC GHANA VERIFICATION

1. Foreign verification means that your nursing license, and some details of ur nursing education are being shared with a foreign nursing regulatory body or an organization on request.
This means that, u need to contact the foreign nursing regulatory body first, for them to request that your license and it’s current state be verified. It’s not the other way round.

2.After applying to the foreign nursing board or organization, they usually give out a document for u to submit to Nmc Ghana for completion.

3. In most of these documents u fill only a portion and leave the rest for Nmc Ghana to complete.
4. For UK verification, it’s done electronically and so u would not receive any document to take to Nmc Ghana, however, after paying the 140£, a link will be generated in your name and sent directly to the Nmc Ghana email for them to verify You through. Contact me for UK Nmc registration with no errors.

This is where u now prepare to go and pay the 550.( Now 1000gh)

Requirements
Nmc registration certificate
NMC Pin
NMC Pin renewal receipt
Birth certificate
NMC licensure results slip
Payslip from the adb or GCB bank after paying the 550. (Now 1000gh)

5. USA requirements
All the above requirements plus the Cgfns or the JSA form. U may also have a document from the state u chose if u dealing directly with the state board. Eg Texas.

You would pay a postage fee at the reception for these in order to get a tracking number when it’s finally done. (407gh) if ERES verification. There may be exceptions. ( eg CGFNS now Trumerit is done electronically)

6. Canada requirements
The Bccnm form 152, or the form given to you by the province u chose plus all the above mentioned general verification requirements.

7. Ireland 🇮🇪
Ideally U have to pay the 350euros before u come to Nmc but others choose to submit documents before. Nmc will add the CCPS when they are verifying U.
U will pay 407 as postage fee at the reception.

8 . After all your documents and payment of 550(now 1000gh) is done , u now visit NMC headquarters in Accra ( Shiashe) for the verification process. It’s not done at the regional offices.

So wherever u are, u ought to travel ( call ALBERTO SERVICES and I would ease this burden off U)
Once u get to the reception, u would be asked which type of verification you intend to do.

Expect some small up and down movements and finally u will receive a foreign verification receipt from the accounts department.

10. Often people tend to ask me what’s the next process after I inform them their clearance is signed and sent to Nmc, Foreign verification is.
11. ⁠Nmc does foreign verification but do not CLEAR U as many think. Your clearance form is safe with them and they would be waiting for You whenever u go in for the verification process.
Understand that according to Nmc , foreign verification on average takes 2 months to complete.
