Love yellow? 💛
Yellow is naturally a warm colour so can be harder for cooler seasons to pull off..
If you’re a warm season, you’ll suit golden, buttery and mustard yellows. And if you’re a cooler season you’ll look best in fresher shades like icy lemon, sharp citron or cool pastel yellow.

Love this soft Summer look from & Other Stories … ideal for summer parties and events
The cool blue dress, silver accessories and fresh pink makeup all sit so beautifully together… cool and elegant without feeling too “done”.
The dress itself would be especially lovely on pear, soft hourglass and softer rectangle shapes, as the cowl neckline draws the eye up and the fluid fabric skims rather than clings.

French Connection is kinda one of those places we kind of forget about… but it has some really gorgeous pieces, you’re probably less likely to see the same pieces on anyone else.
Here are some looks from each season as inspo for you 💫

Joanne Cantwell is on our screens so much at the moment between the GAA and World Cup coverage, and she always comes across as so professional, hard-working and composed. 👏🏻
She’s also a great example of how much difference the right undertones can make.. Joanne has naturally cool-toned colouring, so cooler tones feel really harmonious on her. But the biggest difference isn’t just the clothes - it’s the hair.
Even when she wears a cool light blue, if the hair is too warm, the whole look doesn’t feel quite as balanced. With the cooler-toned hair, her skin looks clearer, her features look more defined, and the overall look feels so much more polished.
It’s such a good reminder that colour harmony isn’t just about what we wear. hair colour can completely change the whole effect.

One of the biggest makeup challenges for a True Summer is keeping their look cool, fresh and airy…
Warm browns, orange nudes and heavy black liner can make the complexion look a little tired or flat and overpowered.
Instead, think cool taupes, soft greys, mauves, rose pinks and gentle berry tones.

As a rule of thumb, dressing for your body shape is about understanding proportions and creating a “balanced” silhouette. ⚖️
Different necklines, silhouettes, and cuts can help create visual balance depending on your natural shape, which is why certain styles are often recommended for different body types.
However…. there is no right or wrong top/shape.. these are simply general guidelines, not strict rules. If you love a style, wear it regardless. Confidence will always be your best accessory.
And for when you do want visual balance, use these suggestions 💁🏻♀️

Every week, we are meeting more women who have embraced their natural grey hair, but feel as though they can no longer wear colour.
And so lots of them have started defaulting to beige, grey, black and other neutrals because they are unsure which shades still suit.
But grey hair does not mean giving up colour. In fact, wearing the right colours from your seasonal palette can look incredibly youthful, fresh and vibrant …while also complementing silver tones.
It is true that, as we age, we can lose some natural luminosity in the skin. Those with higher-chroma colouring, such as Bright Winters or Bright Springs, may find that they prefer to soften or slightly tone down some of their most vivid shades.
But your core colouring does not simply disappear. The colours within your palette will continue to harmonise with your skin, eyes and overall appearance, often bringing far more life to your face than muted neutrals.
